One thing that will really help you on this site if you use a Mobile device to surf here is to turn off images. Especially signature images. These slow down page transfers considerably.
To do this follow these directions. In the dark blue section above in the left hand corner is the option User CP. Click on that. A menu will drop down.
In the drop down menu choose Edit Options. It will be the 4th option down in the top menu box.
In the third box the top section is about thread displays. If there is a green check mark in any of those boxes it will show those images. If you remove the green check mark the site will speed up.
This is useful on game days when the site traffic goes up. Just food for thought.
