During the draft, he looked about 100lbs heavier than that photo. It was scary.

I saw him here at the Arlington Airport the day they signed Carr. He is bigger in real life. I bet he could eat two of the 72 oz steaks in Amarillo.

I saw a ton of guys in Florida at WDW that make the Ryan boys look slim.

I swear one guy hadn't seen his own ***** in years.

He's gotten to the point where I wonder if he's going to outlive his contract...literally. He's going to need a rascal soon.

That's true in some cases.

Obesity is related to genetics, diet and exercise.

Clearly the Ryans tend towards the heavy side. I'd say that the person serious enough to get lap band surgery is often serious enough to make other changes too.

I guess some of you don't actually read anything in the threads but the OP before replying to them, lol.

Eh, I've lost 110+ in the last 11 months, no surgery for me, just less food and more exercise.

I am shooting for 50 in 8 months and 80+ in two years (I have thyroid issues now so it is harder fo me to lose weight than years ago) I am down 17lbs in 11.5 weeks with changing what I eat and exercise.

That's extraordinary, I salute you...

Great job guys! I'm down from 257 in 2009 down to 177 now. I used to blame genetics but it's just dicipline.

With the way you hate us fat Americans, perhaps you should stay out of our country...

Have you heard the phrase "ugly American"?? It refers to one of us who goes overseas on vacation, and acts like a jerk... it is now clear that there is such a thing as the "ugly Canadian"...

Again, spend your vacation dollars in your own damned country, if you find us so offensive...

My mom's family came from Huntington, Ontario and moved to Oneida, NY before she was born, so I have family still in Canada, and have always had a special fondness for the country... you are singlehandedly killing that...

BTW, what kind of moron goes to Disney World in freaking July?? People with a lick of sense make that trip in the winter...

Whoa. That was kinda harsh, silverbear. I don't know his/her posting history, but it seemed to just be an observation about some people at Disney World.

As far as those who have lost weight, congrats to you all. The most I ever lost was 15 lbs. It's amazing how fast the pounds come off when you combine proper diet with daily exercise. Unfortunately it's hard for me to stick with it so I gained the weight back. I'm about to to start another regimen. Wish me luck as I root for all of you in return.
