Need to add in your hypocritical that Prescott does not have a no-trade clause in his contract.Forget the cap implications for this hypothetical—would you trade Dak for a first round pick this year if the cap didn’t prohibit it?
Actually, Dak's recent huge contract deal does carry both a no-tag and no-trade clause.Need to add in your hypocritical that Prescott does not have a no-trade clause in his contract.
Other quibblers like me will bring this detail up.

Stupid JerryActually, Dak's recent huge contract deal does carry both a no-tag and no-trade clause.
Are you kidding, I'd take a 4th and be thrilled.
If you offered Dak for trade what's the most you could expect?

Well Wentz won't for a conditional 1st after an absolutely terrible season, so...
True but Wentz was perceived as fixable.Dak has been defensed to fit his flaws which are not repairable. That said Dak could be a asset to us or any team if he’s willing to be mobile. But for whatever reason we insist he sits in the pocket. I hated Linehan, but he took imput from Dak, Moore, Garrett and built a offense Dak could flourish in. Reverting back to that model is Dak's only hope. But as it sits now Dak is not tradable of worth keeping.Well Wentz won't for a conditional 1st after an absolutely terrible season, so...
No. We don’t have a quarterback to replace him. Dak played like crap in the playoffs but he still threw for 38 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. Then finished in the top 5 of most quarterbacks stats.Forget the cap implications for this hypothetical—would you trade Dak for a first round pick this year if the cap didn’t prohibit it?
I don't think so. The QB prospects are not standout grade.Forget the cap implications for this hypothetical—would you trade Dak for a first round pick this year if the cap didn’t prohibit it?
Washington, New York and Philadelphia would not only give us a first round pick they would throw in their starting quarterback from last season as well.No ONE and I means no ONE would give a no 1 pick for Prescott.
The only place he is considered a franchise QB is here in Homerville by the minority at present!
P.S.And in Jerry's head which we all know-how his great football mind....
