Again others manage their lifes without a single incident yet guys like Pacman can't. I really do not care one way or the other but it is not by accident that the same fools get into trouble and there are 100% ways of avoiding trouble. He controls his life not others, choices he makes, where he goes who he hangs out with go a long way in taking care of the problem.

I have had my share of problems as a youth with the police but I also found out that it could all change if I made changes in my own life. You can blame everyone else for your own problems but it is not going to change until you change yourself.
I could careless about Pacman if he wants to continue to be in and out of trouble good for him but this notion you have to be a saint? No just a bit smarter in where you hang out and who you are hanging with.

CowboyMcCoy;5098711 said:I was being sarcastic. I do think that NFL players should stay away from bars and alcohol altogether. There is just too much riding on the line to waste it on a "good time" (if you think drinking is a good time).

KJJ;5098724 said:She was drunk it was a alcohol that got her in that condition and she was holding a beer bottle. After she threw the beer in his face he retaliated in anger it didn't look like self defense to me. He got mad and hit her. A lot of women throw drinks in a guys face I don't think you can slap them knocking them to the ground in retaliation for doing that. Wish we had a lawyer in here.
Doomsday101;5098718 said:I think they just need to use better judgment. Vast majority of players do not get in trouble, they manage to live their lives and enjoy themselves away from the field. You got others who want to act like gangsters and then act shocked when trouble comes their way.
I have had my dad and coaches I played for warn me and teammate about running the streets at 2 in the morning telling us there is nothing out there at 2 am but trouble and of course being a teen I knew better than them until it was me sitting behind bars for 30 days. I came to a big realization that only I can control what happens to me and it started with changing what I did and who I was with.
CowboyMcCoy;5098750 said:Drinking to that degree when you're that old and have that much riding on the line is stupid, even if chances are you won't get in trouble. Sometimes odds don't go in your favor even if they're in your favor. I'm a walking example of that. Pacman should have known better. But I don't think he did anything terribly wrong here.
Doomsday101;5098731 said:Even if he can get off the hook it does not change the fact he uses poor judgement I'm sure there others ways to handle the same situation without ending up in jail.
KJJ;5098773 said:With all the problems he's had in the past he shouldn't be hanging out in bars where you're bound to run into a drunk. Pacman always looks like a thug who's looking for trouble. The guy is a magnet for crap like this now he's put himself in another bad situation. There's people out there who wouldn't mind having him take a slap at them so they could get a $500.000 settlement in return. When you have fame and money especially someone like Pacman who's had brushes with the law there's people out there who see him as an opportunity. I don't see that video helping Pacman any because that was a situation he could have walked away from. He leaned over the gate/fence at one point but she kept an arms length distance from him.
They were jawing with each other and he said something that made her angry enough to toss a beer in his face. I've seen that happen at bars where a woman throws a drink in a guys face for whatever reason. If the guy strikes them for it especially one who's been accused of striking women in the past they're going to land in some real hot water. The woman Pacman struck could very easily claim self defense herself by saying that he threatened her.
Doomsday101;5098782 said:I agree. With his history the last place he needs to be is out drinking in a bar.
KJJ;5098785 said:His history is going to work against him he's slapped women before and the slap he delivered last night was in retaliation for a beer being tossed in his face not a result of being in fear of his life.

joseephuss;5098799 said:The beer wasn't even tossed in his face. It was poured on him. Sucks and I wouldn't want beer poured on me, but it is hardly the worst thing to happen to a person and not worthy of hitting someone in retaliation. She is an idiot and obviously has her own issues, but two wrongs don't make a right. He was out of line.
Doomsday101;5098757 said:I agree given his past. old or young over drinking is a good way to loose control and get into trouble.
