Retirement was pretty much a given after he sustained a neck injury again last year when doctors were telling him if he wanted a normal life after football, he should retire from football...

If he wants to coach we should jump at the chance to make him a LB coach, he always was a hard worker and that generally translates very well to coaching, might even be a future DC.

LVE was a GREAT when he was healthy! Just imagine him and Sean Lee 100% healthy for numerous years...

He was solid especially against the run but If you listen to many here they thought he was terrible. He became a whipping boy for some fans. Many were down on him because his level of play dropped off after his neck injury. He was terrific his rookie year. I thought he might end up a HOF player had he not been injured.
