5 pages in and no one has posted the famous Quincy photo with the beatbox.....come on guys, were slipping :)

I'm guessing that because so many have "feelings" now, it's probably forbidden.
The world has gone SAWFT.

Offenses were different 25 years ago. It would be like comparing Troy’s numbers to Terry bradshaw.

Troy played in a power run offense while Dak plays in a pass happy offense also.

Troy was viewed as the best qb of his era, the most accurate qb and is in the Hall of Fame.

He has an MVP also and a dynasty qb.

He had the most wins of any qb in any decade at time of retirement, he past Montana.

He also was 1st or 2nd at the time retirement with post season stats. It was him and Joe Montana.

Look at Marino’s numbers to Brady numbers. Marino was considered phenom with a blazing fast release but Brady, Manning, Brees probably doubled his numbers and Matt Ryan has probably passed him too.

You gotta judge people to their era.

Anyone that tries to compare QBs from the 90s and before are morons. The game isnt even the same. Look at all time Td passes and yards top 10. What, probably 8-9 of them are all from 2005 and after. Only Marino and maybe Fouts are on there for yards. The rules are so different it is foolish to discuss.

I think it was 1978 PRESEASON GAME and Jack Tatum destroys Darryl Stingley and paralyzed him. You would never see that today. They played on concrete fields and dbs could molest WRs all the way down the field, crush them going over the middle, and crush QBs every time they threw the ball. You cant even hardly touch them today.
