For those of you wanting the Dallas media to roast Mr Jones…Dallas area radio host/podcaster Ben Rogers just blasted Jerry and the entire Cowboys organization for the joke of a process we just witnessed in hiring a head coach.

You can read the specifics in the post. Open it to read the whole thing. No punches pulled.

Good for him

Stay out of this. You'd probably cry to the mods if I told you to take your kids to the worst doctors. You're cool with this because he told me.....
You're taking the comment way out of context and creating a fallacy from which you can claim victim status.

It's textbook and it's obvious.

How I take comments depend on the messenger. This dude has it out for me just like others. I know who jokes around and who doesn't. I don't care for this poster and he doesn't care for me....I know what he meant. Even if he doesn't have what it takes to admit it.

I caught a hysterical video someone made of Jerry. Whoever did it dubbed in the dialogue using AI, I think, to generate Jerry's voice. I can't post it here because the language is very salty but if you can find it on X, I promise you will get a good chuckle out of it.
Bold> No member should but I agree that it is hilarious.

Imagine any other franchise telling one of their best young players that he can’t have #0 because the team mascot has that one locked down.

Just another example of how a head coach's intangible leadership can be negatively affected by a tangible action. Any player should ask their head coach to make that decision.

Now, Overshown knows who is the real decision-maker about something as essentially football-oriented as simple and basic as a jersey. That is pathetic.

Ben Roger’s won’t because he’s not a reporter, so he won’t be in the room at the presser. The guys who can ask tough questions are the beat reporters. David Moore, Clarence Hill, Todd Archer, Jon Machota…maybe some local TV guy.

But those are not the guys whose purpose is to challenge…it’s more to simply “report” the story. Now…columnists, radio hosts…guys like that are the ones that can and will challenge him. But remember, Jerry insulates himself from most of those kind of media. Jerry stopped allowing those kinds of interviews when Dale Hansen retired years ago.

The kind of people he allows to interview him are usually people he absolutely knows will toss the softest of softballs to him or don’t follow the team enough to even know what the real questions are. Guys like Stephen A Smith or a national broadcaster working for the NFL who will never call him out.

Fans who want a voice need to stop buying merch, stop going to games, or if they go, boo, and wear bags over the head, etc. But most of us on these forums usually can’t afford to go to the games anyway.

Media? Lol....real media is more concerned with the games tomorrow....not saying this guy is wrong, but this isn't news. Many of you have been saying the same for months. Difference is, he makes money every time you click on his account...
Yep.

Media aren't taking their gloves off, they are just following like lemmings as they usually do.

I hear ya haze! I've actually been going to the games recently, my boys are getting big, and it's time that Dad takes them to Texas

"Jerry Jones now owns the longest NFC title game drought in the conference."

I hope this gets brought up ad nauseum to Jerry Jones. If any reporter has the stones to do it. Somehow, I hope he hears about it constantly.

“Jerry Jones now owns the longest NFC title game drought in the conference. It was 1996 when the Cowboys were last there. I believe Warren Moon was still in the league that season. He’s 68 now.”

This one hit hard
