Former Dallas radio host eviscerates Jerry on X

This notion that there isn’t more criticsm of our owner tells me they aren’t reading the local papers , watching the local broadcasters and listening to radio host.

It's easier to just find other teams to enjoy & root for. You have to save yourself from this fiasco. But it can be done.

100%. The heat on JJ from the local DFW media has never been hotter. Dallas columnist Tim Cowlishaw just wrote a scathing article about the ineptitude of the Jones front office. If you live in the area, you know the criticism has been there.

Or

They have been subjected to all of the above to some extent and have not reacted publicly. It would be prudent for local, regional and national sports media to continue their heightened criticism of Jerry Jones.

Those wishing to see IMMEDIATE reaction to media-invoked criticism should want the face-to-face and confrontational interviewing to continue every occasion. Let’s fluff. More reality.

Brian Schottenheimer’s hiring is a current hot button. Keep pressing it hard. Keep pissing off Jones on camera or radio. That is where strong reactions have been documented. And provoking questioning should not stop at curtains.

Or just watch another sport. I go back and forth between football and hockey this time of year. This year the focus has been more on hockey.

Watching Jerry's circus is no different than watching the WWE. Neither one is enjoyable.

Good to know. If you’re out of the area, Jane Slater is about all you get.

If you want to send a message and embarrass the **** out of the Joneses, then organize a walkout during a home game, exactly what Lions fans did during the Matt Millen era. Cleverly called it the Millen Man March. Embarrassed the ownership enough that it helped lead to his firing. Do it during a nationally televised game. And don't come back. Get the national media talking about it. It will create even more momentum. Things will change.

Most if not all of the criticism locally I’m referring to is not to his face .

I think those limited confrontations publicly are overrated. Much like any press conference we have with public and elected officials .

Cowlishaw is one of the best critics. And he receives front sports page.

I’d bet at least based on the comments in this forum that 10% or less view or read one of the most highly critically acclaimed sports pages in the country.

Unfortunately we are not able to share in this forum.

Thing is everyone can have access to our local newspaper publications online for much less than they donate here or to my front door.

Local radio and tv broadcast are free.

Im Not sure how we can be true informed diehards without access to the local vibe.

Look up Tim Cowlishaw‘s work. He writes for the Dallas MN. Also, if you want a taste of what the local radio talk has to say about the Jones cartel, you can listen on-line to Dallas’ best (IMO) sports talk station, “The Ticket”. They have an app you can access for free. The morning show featuring hosts George Dunham and Craig Miller airs between 6:00 and 9:00 AM. They pull zero punches.

I guess I’ve become lazy as general info has become easier to get your hands on. I used to be completely nuts.

Of course Cowboys Weekly in the mail, but also used to get the DMN delivered to my house daily in NJ. Yes, all of them. Each would be at least a few days to a week late, and you’d sometimes get like four at once….messed up the mailbox and frustrated the mailman, but I didn’t care.

Then things graduated to fax service called The Insider that Bayless and Spagnola were a part of.

Anyway, the national media seems to be careful with him, but it’s good to know the locals have some journalistic integrity.

Of course. It is the reason why my post differentiated between the two ways criticism is being directed at Jones.

I think those limited confrontations publicly are overrated. Much like any press conference we have with public and elected officials .
They may be overrated but they have impact. Small impact in fact. Those seeking real, measurable impact must wait for the continuous, accumulated effect. That always takes time.

“Cowboys fans are trapped in a business deal.”

Only “trapped” if you choose to be.

It’s your life, your time, your money, and your choice.

Remember that.

For those of you wanting the Dallas media to roast Mr Jones…Dallas area radio host/podcaster Ben Rogers just blasted Jerry and the entire Cowboys organization for the joke of a process we just witnessed in hiring a head coach.

You can read the specifics in the post. Open it to read the whole thing. No punches pulled.

Fans of the Dallas Cowboys need to start a ******** account for one month, to purchase a huge cake. Each fan could donate $1.00, at the end of the one month a name can be drawn, that lucky person can either take the cake and run OR the winner can smash the cake into Jerry Jones' medically deformed face!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just a thought!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!
