Sucks worse that we've all been paying for her to live for the last 53 years. I really don't care what happens to her at this point but she should have been executed 53 years ago. I recently read that it cost on average $35K to keep an inmate in care for a year. Obviously not as much back then, but that's still a lot of $ to keep somebody alive who doesn't deserve to live.
I've heard it actually costs more to execute someone. Not sure how that works, or if it's true...just something I've heard.

It works by putting idiots in charge of the execution. A bullet, ropes, and beheading tools are not expensive

The cost lies in the court hearings and appeals that take place prior to execution.

The major issue Moreso falls on all the innocent people who have been convicted of murder in the past and the risk of an innocent person being executed.

So how do you reduce the court costs of these cases without increasing the risk of an innocent person getting it. It’s a tough problem to solve.

That being said. If it’s a black and white clear cut case without a shred of doubt. Then yeah. Execute them quick.

Yeah, I see no reason to have kept her in prison. 53 years is a long time in prison.
53 years more than the innocent person she murdered but then some people only care about the criminals...

I find the excuse of brainwashing to be ridiculous. She had the propensity to do that and he just gave her the opportunity.

Anyone that would do what she did should never walk free again.

Exactly. When she was questioned afterwards, she ADMITTED she knew she was committing murder BUT DID NOT CARE. But some here do not CARE about that.

This evil murderous creature should have died in the electric chair.

Hopefully she dies painfully when it comes.

What a crock.. she should've died in prison. There should be no freedom at all after what they did.
You know what's crazy to me is I don't even believe Manson was guilty. There are some investigative pieces out there that indicate he was part of MK Ultra and some other tests.

I've heard it actually costs more to execute someone. Not sure how that works, or if it's true...just something I've heard.
Legal appeals are expensive. And everyone has a right to due process, and the courts make sure the accused on death row get it, so they don't get overturned.
