I know these players put years into their craft but it's absurd the amount of money they are paid also. Dak is a regressing mediocre player and got paid 200 plus million, it's absolutely insane.

how many other millionaires have done the same? I know one in a neighborhood close to us did the same. its their money.
and the business that gets to rebuild it makes money and pays people. there is benefits than just investing in stock market and making millionaires, and billionaires even richer than spreading it some how to everybody through them having jobs doing this.
my point is houses and their components could be recycled, then whats left torn down.
Less crap into landfills and the rebuild will still produce jobs.

money wise the smart play would have been to sell that house, buy land, build the new house on new land.
I think dak being small minded, and in a hurry, just wanted to keep his field lol , so he wanted to keep that land.
With new land he could have built a 100 yd field instead of a small 50yd field.

I partially agree. but the rich do what the rich do. and also many middle class homes are torns down without being recylced.

and its his house. his property. his choice.... why would he need a 100 yard field? he is not conducting a football game.
and when you have that much money, its not about smart play and making more on your property, although he will with a bigger house. its about what you want, where you want to live.

sorry, I think in this case you are being small minded.

Didn't Dak see the media attention Romo got for going to cabo, playing golf in the offseason or wearing his hat backwards? Or who he dated? lol

I don't care for it, but it's just the reality of famous athletes. Anything they do, directly or indirectly will get attention.

He could have sold it for 10 times what it is worth because he had lived there.
Tearing it down was a wasted of a lot of materials that could have been reused.
NOw it all goes into a landfill, which is quite a bit.
Stupid is as stupid does!

I am not pleased with his playing, honestly is robbing the team, but as I mentioned before him being paying what he is getting is not on him but the front office. Any of us would try to earn as much as we can get.

He should have waited until the offseason.
Yup....that would have been best. I designed and contracted my home during the off season. I busted my behind and built it in 58 days....let my wife worry about the furniture and I went back to the weightroom and 7 on 7 games!
