What do you think about Jalen Hurts?

Well as a passer I don't think Jalen Hurts is as talented as Dak. I think he is a better athlete for sure and has better talent around him and currently a better scheme. Dak's had Hurts' number for most of his career. Head to head Dak's been better and Dak has a 2.6:1 TD to INT ratio and Hurts is essentially 2:1. They throw a similar amount of picks but Dak throws more TDs. Obviously this year has been an outlier. Hurts has been the much healthier player. I think realistically Hurts is a top 10 QB. I'd prefer Dak but that's if Dak is healthy and age does come into play bc Dak doesn't move as well as he used to. I would argue outside of injuries that Hurts would be struggling a good bit worse than Dak in this offense.

Cooper Rush is the one that lacks talent. He is a good football player, but he lacks the arm strength you need to play in the NFL and that and his lack of overall athleticism makes him turnover prone. Yet you put him on a solid Cowboys team and I think he is the ideal backup. I do think he's a gamer though he isn't afraid to try to make plays.

You'll have to forgive me. We suck in SO many ways, it's often easy to overlook ways we suck that would be huge red flags on other teams, but they just kind of blend in on our crappy sissy Dallas cowboys

I'm going with lack of talent combined with lack of talent around him to make up for his lack of talent.

Basically, lack of talent all around.

It feels like the staff barely prepares anymore honestly

People just dont understand or cant evaluate talent.

He plays on the same level he did those 8 years in the NFL before this season. Now that the talent level around him decreased its just more simple to behold.

Also because of his broken ankle which was a siginificant injury he is now very prone to soft tissue probelms/injuries.
First his calf, now his hamstring. Those things typically appear because of bigger injuries in the past.
The body cant compensate for odd movement or malpositions anymore.

He also is way to bulky. He should get thinner (muscle wise). he is working too much in the gym. Should do more for his endurance/stretching etc...


But in the end he is what he is: a bad NFL QB.

You cant make wolfs out of lambs. But for his talent level he accomplished more than he should have ever imagined i guess. Not sports wise i am talking about his income.

Now you’ll get the Dak lovers on your back who’ll tell you he was runner up MVP last year… like that means something.
Or throw out his stats, like a badge of honor… even though most of it came in garbage time
Heck he had talent surrounding him for the most part and did nothing with the exception of his same excuse after every loss… he will learn from it.
There’s even one fool who said that if Dak was QB during those 90’s teams he would’ve won those SuperBowls instead of Aikman… I have trouble believing if that were the case that they would win a playoff game with him at the helm.

In any event all he’s ever done is make himself very rich, by fooling an old idiot…
