Jerry and Stephen wanted to draft Paxton Lynch…that should tell you all you need to know about their ability to evaluate talent.

Dak is a system QB that needs playmakers at every level to succeed. He has been the beneficiary of having studs at RB, WR and TE; very good offensive lines; competent run game and defenses that force opponents to play from behind; yet has been unable to deliver in the big games with equally-matched teams. He is unable to elevate the play of those around him…I think we all remember that bewildered look in the GB game.

Jerry has coddled Dak to no end: Dak was gifted the job of starting QB, he never earned it via competition; Jerry never brought in a legit QB to challenge Dak for playing time; the offense was changed to take pressure off of Dak with short to intermediate passes. Never once has Jerry openly criticized Dak, instead giving him a free pass with no accountability to get better.

So now, Jerry has taken away the supporting players; the offensive line has regressed and the defense is no longer dominant, so Dak is now playing from behind…and the results are obvious.

The future is bleak..a team that builds exclusively through the draft has just given up what will most likely be a high 4th round pick for a WR who will be lucky to see the field; the cap hits for the QB and WR will preclude acquiring quality FAs to shore up positions of weakness. Add to that poor coaching and schemes that do nothing to provide a competitive advantage and exploit weaknesses. How many times have we seen other teams create mismatches and dictate play?

Jerry will blame injuries on the poor performance; profess that he has faith in and loves the talent on this team; and in-short do nothing. I would suspect that any new coaching hires will be uninspiring and inadequate…other teams will improve while Dallas remains stagnant, mired in mediocrity, under the misguided and incompetent leadership of the FO.

People are still confused on Prescott and why he sucked large this year? It's simple and has been true his entire career. Whenever he's asked to carry the load and play like a real franchise QB he fails every time.

He can't carry. He has to be carried. The Cowboys in their infinite wisdom went into this season asking more of him and you got what you've always gotten. He can't do it. He's a sky pointing LEADERSHIP fraud.

We should be at the point of finally moving on from this stiff and having a hopeful offseason of finding a real QB and not beginning his next contract that pays him 60 million a year for more years of failure.

So the Cowboys now have two options. Build a team around him good enough to carry the QB while paying that same QB like he's elite or fail. It's as simple as that. I'm betting on the latter.

Yep, they will waste another Draft pool trying to get Prescott to upgrade his play on the field.

His mechanics have gotten worse this year. Lots of it is due to our O line being probably the worst it has been since he got here. Martin is a shell of what he was. Steele is awful right now, and you are starting 2 rookies. Couple the O line problems with no upgrades to our running attack and injuries to our D line and you have all the ingredients necessary to have a total crap team with the resulting crap record.

PS. A lot of this falls on Jerry being dumb enough to think Dak is a top 5 QB in the league.

Dak has an 8 year run with one of the top rosters in the NFL and he failed. You can’t blame Jerry for Dak’s suckage. The owner gave Dak a contract off a broken leg and 7 TOs in 4 and a half games, a 2017 season of futility and 2018 of horrible, not being able to throw against zone and still not being able to throw against zone, Dak setting Quincy Carter records in futility here.

So now one can say it’s finally caught up to him.

Jerry even paid this bum 250 million dollars for like 5 years, meaning he clearly wasn’t planning on sucking for one year.

Yes very entertaining, but you forgot to add in, "hypocritical" and "dumb as ****".

Only people with low football IQs would blame all of the Dallas Cowboys many issues on one player at the quarterback position.

Dak definitely played bad this season, but the whole team and front office has been trash as well. It's also hilarious how other max contract quarterbacks around the league have losing records, but none of them are being blamed for their team struggling the way our quarterbacks get blamed.

It's not a team game if you play quarterback for the Cowboys, but if you're a quarterback for any other team, it's a team game. With that said, the goal post moving, hypocrisy and lies are truly entertaining.

You'll have to forgive me. We suck in SO many ways, it's often easy to overlook ways we suck that would be huge red flags on other teams, but they just kind of blend in on our crappy sissy Dallas cowboys
