Easy decision, let him walk.

I like Demarco but he's not Lynch, he's not AD, and if anyone has a stat showing his yards before contact, i'd guess that stat in a vacuum would put him top 5 in the NFL in rushing yards. I'd also like to see his yards after contact and broken tackles if anyone has that info.

If he wants to sign a 2 year deal worth 10-11 mill then I'd do it. Any more then that, and I'm finding an alternative. I think AD would come to Dallas for a comparable offer, and if that's the case then Murray is collateral damage.

You absolutely cannot franchise him and mortgage your entire offseason for a RB. Could we suffer a little from his loss? Sure. Could we actually get better at the position? Yes we could, and people refuse to acknowledge that.

RB is one of the easier positions to transition to in the NFL, the major caveat here is pass protection. The FA market is also insane this offseason and the saturation will decrease market value leading to some good deals to be had for anyone looking.

lol this isnt madden homie, as smart as all that sounds, the beginning was so stupid, Hes not Lynch?? hes not AD?? WE could get better at RB but why waste a pick on a RB when u already have one...save them for Defense and until we find our Next corner stone defense player, lets ride the murray train, because in all honesty this team would not be 9-4 without Murray on this team

Well if Murray is GREAT, it took him an awfully long time to get there.

Joseph Randle is averaging 7 yards a carry. The line is great, not the backs.

You know this is only his 4th season? Hard to say it took an awfully long time to do anything

That response didn't make any sense. It's actually incredibly ironic considering you want to blow up the entire salary cap for a RB, which makes everyone think you think this IS madden.

This isn't Baseball. We have a cap. Do you even know what our cap # is?

If it were Madden, you'd trade Murray for 2 #1 picks. If it were the real world, nobody would trade anything more than a conditional 4th for a big RB contract.

As far as Lynch is concerned, he has about 5 games left in his career. He's not coming here, and if somebody thinks he's worth a big contract then that's even more lunacy than paying Murray a fortune. His back is shot and he will most likely walk away. He should have done it after last season, but I guess the extra padded bank account was worth the diminished lifestyle at age 40.

So Murray cant be mentioned along side with lynch and peterson?? i just wonder where u get your conclusions ?? is it based on performance or purely salary?? its just that u put lynch and peterson out there as if murray is not on there level which is not true at all, im my opinion murray is a much better option then peterson and lynch at this moment in time and i agree the madden statement what far off...

If you put Murray in the same category as Lynch and Peterson you've never seen them play. Period.

And good day.

good day. Murray would be franchised because who else would we waste it on...if not dez , and who other than murray would we benefit more from with a franchise tag...doug free?, it would give us a little more time to evaluate him , and also be above average in the running aspect , spend those draft picks on Defense where they should go..and i dont believe murray is the kind 2 talk, or sit out of training camp because of it

I agree with the AP signing the only problem is you have to used the Franchise tag before you can sign free agents.
