Henson does seem to be fading like the whole team has. They were playing great then went into the tank and really have not been the same since. Henson has the physical tools- but upstairs? Judgement,instincts, etc is what makes the QB and Henson really has not shown all that much. If he really was ready to challenge Romo for the backup position he should be able to really look good in the NFLE. If his receivers drop the ball he should be putting it in their hands; making good throws to receivers and NOT throwing to heavily covered guys. Things like that he has NOT been doing the last few games.

Henson was smoking on the first drive and then Frankfurt started blitzing bringing 8 men in the box to stop the run. Chang comes in throws another INT and has one good drive. 3rd Henson gets hurt and couple that with a horrible OL not a good recipe. Samp was taken out of the game and that is Henson's goto guy. The Fire punter sucks and the whole 2nd half Frankfurt was getting the ball on the 50 while Fire got it on the 20->5 range.

The reason the Fire is losing is because they are getting out coached.

You of all fans should realize what no running game can do to a QB.

Before you go out on a limb pal, you oughta either know what your talking about, or go back do some quick researching.

I've been a Henson fan, one of his biggest fans. I've never advocated Romo over Henson, I even wanted him to start from the time that Vinny got hurt. I have been soured on him recently. I have no reason to praise or defend a guy that hasn't done anything for the Dallas Cowboys.

I have my doubts about Henson. Henson should be twice the QB Timmy Chang is. He's been around for going on 3 years, has ran a scout offense and has probably watched a ton of game film. Timmy Chang looked like a decent prospect today, while Henson, even B4 his knee was hurt wasn't doing anything.

I doubt Timmy Chang will ever be much more than a #2 if that, but Henson doesn't look too much better at this point.

You size Chang up today??? Where have you been with the rest of the games let me sum it up for you INT machine. If you watched the rest of the games Henson has been carrying the crappy team all year.

I think the team is getting out coached but your right since they lost the 2 starting WR's they have not looked the same. I think you other comments are a little premature considering the circumstances.

Now that Henson has playing time under his belt he will beat out Romo easily. Romo has a noodle arm that produces floaters.

Did anybody watch the game last week? He was the same he has been all year. And to say that he was sucking before is his injury is just completly ignorant, he went 3-5. Whoa hold the presses 3-5 means he sucks.

So, basically, what you're pretty much saying is that Henson hasn't really progressed much and looks like he won't have a significant futre, because you're comparing his play with Timmy Chang's who looked like a "decent prospect" today.

Interesting how so many Henson lovers will not admit that he has slipped recently- and it is NOT about his team entirely. HE has not been playing as well. I have seen QB's play well when their teams have not- have NOT seen that with Henson.

Lord knows 90% of those bashing him, sure as hell showed all kinds of support for a former QB whose bong water will be freezing in Canada.
