Because every time Jackson signs a 5 years deal, he wants to renegociate after 2 years. He still has 3 years left on his current deal. His contracts aren't worth the paper they are written on. He thinks he should get huge signing bonuses every other year instead of actually fullfilling teh contract he signs.

No surprise the Eagles are getting tired of his schtick. He's a good player, but not worth the headaches.

1 - he has 2 years left on his current deal
2 - he never asked for more money this offseason. He wanted guaranteed money. Which would actually help the Eagles to money his money around.

continue on tho

Andre Roberts's deal with Skins will end up 4yrs around $16M, with half of that guaranteed. Very nice haul for him

I guess the Commanders did not learn their lesson with Josh Morgan. Why teams sign #2 WRs to big money and expect them to turn into #1s is beyond me.

way to much money for roberts. No wonder he jumped on this and didnt even want to test the market

I have an idea for DeSean Jackson: why doesn't he just fulfill his obligations he agreed to in his contract? Why doesn't he let his signature actually mean something? The Eagles are willing to hold up their end.

I guess being a stand up guy is too much to ask from your pal DeSean.

Wait, so help me understand the Buccaneers.

They are spending money on an end to rush the passer. Yet they are getting rid of Revis.

Don't they know that you can never have enough corners?

they are playing cover 2 zone with lovie in town

zero need for a 16 million dollar press corner and they get to keep their 3rd round pick

Two teams to watch on CB Darrelle Revis once Tampa releases him: Philadelphia and New England (Jets fans shudder).

I think Revis wore out his welcome...and the money. To be fair you need both with DL a tad more important....IMO. I don't like spending too much money on any one player except big playmakers and QBs which you have no choice other than pony up the money. Get long tall big fast young DBs. Give me 9-10 of 'em.

They are trying to trade him for 2 1st round picks...they are not trying too hard to get rid of him...are they?
