Don't limit search just to middle LB....could bring in an OLB to compete and move other guys inside. Obviously Hitchens likely stays inside now. Maybe Carter inside.

With preliminary results indicating a torn acl for Lee can someone start a list? I know angerer will top the list for many but he is injury prone as well.

Isnt that why they drafted Hitchens? and Have Lemon and Hollomon and Carter. All who have played MLB for the cowboys. And Durant played it last yr and was nice

What's it going to be then, eh?

The other problem is the MLB responsibilities in this defense, a lot of deep zone coverage responsibilities.

That is the real problem with the defense. It requires very specific skill sets for certain key positions (3-T DT, MLB and ROLB).

Yeah not saying they need to bring one in to start but depth is needed regardless

Yeah... That's a big-time problem.

It would be nice to get some good news once in a while.

I wouldnt hate a signing of a guy like Vilma. Hell compete. Whatever fits. But Vilma idk if he fits a zone scheme.

Im sure will see Hollomon and Hitchens Battle it out for the starting Mike job

Wouldn't it send a bad message to the young guys if you ran out and grabbed a guy no one else wanted before now?

Well given the complexity of the coverages... Even Lee botched'em last year, I'm not sure having a rookie start in the middle would be good for business if you know what I mean.
