Man, we've got a buttload of key free agents next year:

Dez Bryant
DeMarco Murray
Rolando McClain
Bruce Carter
Dwayne Harris
George Selvie
Doug Free - same situation as Melton
Henry Melton - essentially a free agent or re-negotiated contract

That's eight starters. When is the last time we had eight starters come into free agency in the same year? I feel certain we really want to keep all those guys except maybe Free. It's going to take A LOT of Jerry's money to keep those seven.

Signing the first three is a no brainer and Carter. Want them all back. maybe we can up grade Selvie

Signing Murray might not be a no brainer depending on the contract he wants. If he wants to be paid like McCoy or Peterson you bid him farewell.

Free will sign a new cap friendly contract. Melton depends on how he plays the rest of the season. Might not can afford him.

Ro McClain may also be hard to keep.

You might as well put Carr on that list as well because he's definitely getting cut unless he takes a pay cut.

Should sign Jerry Hughes. Had a breakout year in Buffalo and might be able to get him at a decent rate. If Lawrence works out Hughes and him would be a decent tandem.

Dez is going to get money
Murray, no RB is going to cash in, in the NFL anymore. Murray is no different. Seattle wasnt even willing to budge on giving lynch 5mil a yr.
McClain Dallas will try to resign him, but if he walks Dallas has Lee.
Carter will get a decent contract but nothing damaging
Harris will not command anything big
Selvie let him walk
Free i think can be signed for like 3mil a yr, bargain for a good RT
Melton if Crawford can do what he did yesterday all yr i could see the team letting Melton walk. that and him being nicked up all the time

Think maybe ur over exaggerating the amount of money these guys will command as a total.

am i one of the minority who believes no matter talented the RB is going into a "second contract" they do not command big time money anymore???

I love Murray dont get me wrong but breaking the bank on a RB in todays league is ridiculous when that money should be spent on Dline and upgrading a secondary...

If the drafts of late prove anything its that quality RBs can be found anywhere in the draft if scouted correctly

Free goes bye bye, Martin slides to RT and an OG gets drafted 2nd or 3rd round unless a highly grade OT falls. That is the beauty of Martin,he give you options every where. I certainly wouldnt over pay Murray, an average talent like Randle racks up yards behind this OL. Todd Gurley would be down right scary behind this OL.

Henry Melton and Doug Free have team options not re-negotiated contracts. we can pick up the option or not. If we don't maybe Yes re can renegotiate a new deal for both witch will be ideal.

Bryant, Murray, and McClain need to be done before the season ends.

Romo needs to renegotiate his salary down. No we do not to restructure his deal he needs a more team friendly deal.

Selvie, Harris and Carter should be able to be done easily. They should et average contracts, if they want more then let them walk.

If Free wants big money let him walk too. Martin being a top 15 pick needs to be a OT.

I agree but so would any RB really. Murray will be 27 next year. There are alot of RBs in this draft, no need for Gurley or a 1st round pick at RB. We can find a new RB in 2nd-4th rounds.
