Quite a few, but I'll wait, worry about it when the time comes. A lot can happen between now and then.
Some can be replaced more than we think, others we really need to keep. I think they will do the right thing.

Henry Melton and Doug Free have team options not re-negotiated contracts. we can pick up the option or not. If we don't maybe Yes re can renegotiate a new deal for both witch will be ideal.

Bryant, Murray, and McClain need to be done before the season ends.

Romo needs to renegotiate his salary down. No we do not to restructure his deal he needs a more team friendly deal.

Selvie, Harris and Carter should be able to be done easily. They should et average contracts, if they want more then let them walk.

If Free wants big money let him walk too. Martin being a top 15 pick needs to be a OT.

I feel confident that was the thought process when they drafted him. Last highly drafted RG was DeCastro who went in the 20's.

I agree but if Free will take a 2 year 5 million deal again then I think it would be worth keeping Free at RT and martin at RG for another year or two.

I think we should also look at drafting a OG in the 3rd or 4th round if we do keep Free. Leary is a weak link in pass pro. And we need someone to have a young OG ready to replace martin in another year or 2. We wanted Trai Turner in the 3rd, we tried to make another trade to get him but couldn't swing it. Trai Turner is doing great too in Carolina.

Harris stays over Murray any day. He is a special talent at what he does and much much more rare than a player like Murray. Demarcos been great but Harris isn't going anywhere. He does to much and is too valuable.

McClain isn't going anywhere because of money. He hand-picked DAL. He doesn't want to be anywhere else.

This. He literally was going to walk away from the game entirely i dont see him leaving for an extra dime or two more elsewhere

Dez bryant is expendable. He doesn't take over games. I don't think any receiver takes games over and they are not worth the money. Pay Murray, Mcclain, Harris, Carter & Melton

Resign Moore and Spencer to team friendly deals or let them walk.

Couldn't disagree more. His very presence opens up so much for the rest of the offense, and if teams are brave enough to give him single coverage, he will eat them up.

Pay Murray
He's going to get a well-desrved payday. We can be the ones who give it to him, but it means we won't be adding much of anything else.

Yes, I'd do it sooner than later. Have to put in clauses that protect the team though.

Should be affordable.

May be time to move on. If he's willing to give us a hometown discount then yes.

His contract takes a huge jump. Still on the fence with him.

Resign Moore
Should be affordable.

and Spencer to team friendly deals or let them walk.
Don't pay age. Thank him and move on.

If we want, we can mortgage the future by paying all of these guys and adding a free agent or two. Though I realize that goes against the financial discipline we have finally shown the last couple of years, it's probably not a bad idea. We've got two or three good years at the most left in Romo, Witten, & Murray (the main issue is Romo), so we might as well go for it now - try to win it all with this current core, then start rebuilding in three years.

Should sign Jerry Hughes. Had a breakout year in Buffalo and might be able to get him at a decent rate. If Lawrence works out Hughes and him would be a decent tandem.
I actually really like that idea, but I think Buffalo, if not someone else, will give him more money than we would.

We should be able to sign all these guys without much of an issue I think. Murray, Carter, and McClain will all be below market value b/c of injury/longevity concerns, and Dez is going to get paid.

Agreed. It was Jerry Jones who jump started his career when it was seemingly over. I think McClain will want to stay and may give a discount to stay.

Carter career has been up and down. Whenever he plays well, he gets hurt. A new deal for him should be relatively cheap. I too would like to see Lee, Carter and McLain play together, if the 3 of them can ever be healthy at the same time.

Let Free walk. Selvie too.

If Crawford continues to play well at 3-tech, and we can get a decent rotation going at 1-tech (including Brent), Melton is expendable. D-line will be a priority next draft.

I will hold my opinion on Murray until the end of the year. It's pretty tough to let a 1,500 yard (or better) runner to walk away, even in this day and age. I'm always afraid of a dropoff once players get paid. See Miles Austin.

Dez will be franchised if he isn't signed early. He isn't going anywhere.

I think it depends. Let's go crazy and say the team makes it to the NFC Championship. Would you want to bring almost everyone back for another run? I think if we end up tapering off and going the dreaded 8-8 again we will be a lot less likely to bring everyone back.

Second, I don't think we are flush with cap space next year. According to overthecap.com, we have 136m committed to the cap with only 41 players signed and our dead money. In those numbers are the deals signed by Carr, Melton, Free, Smith and Romo. Obviously we can make room with those, some options affect future cap.

Best thing would be if Carr. Melton, Free and Romo agreed to restructure, cutting their scheduled base salaries. That way we can keep the players and gain room. None of them are worth what their salary is next year.

From free agency, we have:

RFA
Dunbar
Beasley
Leary
Little
J. Crawford
D. Weems

I would say Beasley, Leary are for sure to be tendered. Dunbar possibly and maybe Weems.

UFA
Parnell
Murray
Moore
McClain
Jones
Hayden
Harris
Durant
Clutts
Carter
Bryant
Brent
Selvie
Spencer
Spillman

What really sucks is we have drafted fairly well the last few years and now we either have to pay them or start over. In a perfect world, we would definitely be signing Murray, Moore, McClain, Jones, Harris, Carter and Bryant. If they have good seasons, would want to consider Selvie, Spencer and Durant.

Offseason is going to be one filled with interesting moves. As such, I am pretty much just going to sit back, watch the season play out and then worry about next year's team when this year's games are done.

You might as well put Carr on that list as well because he's definitely getting cut unless he takes a pay cut.

i'm not so sure about that. that would only create another hole to fill in a year that if you sign your own you won't be able to do much in fa.
