James Anderson - Nonfactor, see ya.
Dez Bryant - Deal gets done or franchised.
Bruce Carter - Think he will be offered a deal, but i think somebody pays him more.
Tyler Clutts - Should be a easy cheap resign.
Justin Durant - Think somebody will pay more here too.
Doug Free - Heart of the OL. Needs to be resigned.
Dwayne Harris - He's a special teams ace, but what else? Cheap
NIck Hayden - Marinelli favorite.
Tony Hills - probably better to draft a T
Henry Melton - Work out new deal or test the water. I think he tests.
Rolando McClain - Think losing Carter and or Durant opens this door.
Demarco Murray - He's already left.
Jeremy Parnell - He will be starting for some bad OL next yr.
George Selvie - Had his 15 mins of fame. He will be on somebody bench.
Anthony Spencer - Do you pay a 31 yr old? I dont.
CJ Spillman - Think this is either Spillman or Harris yr. Id go with Spillman.

I think Hitchens makes it easier to cope with the losses of Carter and Durant. Cam Lawrence will be back and he showed he can play in this defense aswell. Run with Hitchens/McClain/Lee.

I would go with Spillman over Harris because Spillman also plays in packages on defense. Harris gives you nothing on offense. Actually takes away from Street progress.

RFA
Cole Beasley - this is a given. I think Dallas should try to work out a multi yr deal.
Lance Dunbar - Does he really do anything worth 2.38mil that its going to cost to tender? Think Williams might have this spot.
Chris Jones - I have no idea what i would do here. Decent punter but 2mil for a punter?
Sterlin Moore - He is worth the 2.38mil but the team should try to work it out for a 2-3 yr deal.

I just dont see Dunbar worth the tender price. Would like to see Williams.

ERFA
Cam Lawrence - Should be able to work out a deal with him. Good special teams guy and decent backup.
Ron Leary - If i was Dallas i would try to sign him to a long term deal. 4 yr deal.
Darrion Weems - Will be on the team

Would like to see up improve the punter position.... Seem to recall there was some competition in camp but we kept Jones

At training camp we had Cody Mandel a rookie from Alabama. He punted very well during preseason, but for some reason they kept Jones. Maybe he was a much better holder for Bailey.

I wouldn't mind deals for Leary and Beasley beyond '15. Dez will be a Cowboy for years to come.

Calling Free the Heart of the OL is preposterous. He is easily the worst lineman we have. Sign whoever is cheaper between him and Parnell

Carter, Durant and McClain should be cheap enough to sign 2 of them

I would offer Spencer around 2m. We need a SDE.

Jones and Dunbar can go, easily replaced

I can see Doug Free re-joining Bill Callahan in Washington. The Cowboys will probably keep Parnell; tender Beasley and Moore, and give their one big mega-deal to Bryant.

If that happens, it's possible they use the franchise tag on Murray. ESPN Dallas says Dallas can create up to $45 million of cap space by restructuring some deals (I'm assuming these are Tony Romo's, Brandon Carr's, and possibly Tyron Smith's).

I want Dez, Beasley, Durant, Ro Mac, Harris and Free without blinking.

Romo and Murray equally disagree with you. Free is no Tyron Smith, but he's as solid as they come and a monster at run blocking. His presence was missed greatly against Detroit and GB. Notice we almost never ran right? He had a really nice year now that he had a competent guard to his left. He's as much a part of that OL as anyone else.

Free is the "leader" by tenure but Frederick is the main leader, followed by Martin.

Recall that Colombo instituted a rule that offensive linemen didn't speak to the media back in the day. If they did they were fined by the rest of the OL. Frederick was having none of that and blatantly ignore that rule. At Wisconsin if you were looking for a leader of the team to speak to you went to the OL and Frederick was the guy. Martin was the guy at Notre Dame. Free was pissed tht these guys started talking to the media but they overruled him because they are the leaders and heart and soul of the OL.

You don't have to tender the rfa's if you don't think they get better offers as free agents. So Dunbar and Chris Jones could be allowed to hit free agency and then signed to cheaper deals.

Or you can tender them and then at the final 53 release them or threaten to release them and sign them to a cheaper deal. They did that to McCray his restricted year.

Franchising Murray will NOT happen, it would pay him 10 million+ for 1 season depending upon what the cap limit ends up being for this coming year.

Talkin Cowboys from Mickey. Free came into the locker room one day and Freddo was surrounded by the media. Free stood there glaring arms folded, and finally walked away.

Freddo met with the media every Weds at least.

Real leaders don't hide.

I saw two sweep rights against Green Bay, one went for a TD and the other one was fumbled, which may have went for another 80 yd TD. Leary is an excellent pull blocker.

Martin Leary were quoted earlier in the yr when he first got hurt that they needed him because he was the guy they turned to.

If he was the heart and soul the OL would have crumbled without him. That isn't the case.

The results would not have been the same if Freddo or Martin missed the same amount of time that Free did.

Frederick/Martin are the heart and soul of this OL.
