Everyone needs to think about what a back-up tackle is doing during the practice week.
Jermey Parnell got minimal reps at LT and RT as the swing tackle and spent most of his time playing on the scout team helping to prepare the defense for the upcoming opponent.
That's right, Parnell was running other team's plays more than the Cowboys' plays.
He didn't play any OL in high school or college.
How many players are there in the NFL who can say that?
I remain convinced if Parnell gets starting reps at RT through the off-season, training camp and pre-season, his team will be getting a good player.
With Bill Callahan in Washington, I definitely see him pushing Dan Snyder and Jay Gruden to sign Parnell.
I prefer Parnell to Free, but will take either one.
Dallas just needs to get one of them done before free agency starts and put the issue to bed.
