I saw a lot of Falcons right up at the line of scrimmage. Like you, I saw a lot of issues with the OL. And yes, I saw places where Randle could've had a couple more yards here and there. But not significant yards. No, the the answer to that defense was to throw, not run with a different guy.

YES. In order to be able to achieve that balance, you have to be able to move the chains. Moving the chains on the ground does so much in terms of keeping your defense resting and forcing the opposing defense to play more honest which opens up the passing game. Weeden actually put in a fairly decent game but the problem is we rely on his arm to move the chains bc we can't do it consistently on the ground.
