Do I need to mass produce signs? Cmon man... We need a thumper & neither of our top two RBBC are it.

It is pretty much a guarantee that a thumper would have run it in during that early opportunity down inside the 5 where we came away looking like fools. They gave it to Randle on 1st down and then completely got scared when he got pushed back. With a thumper in there, Linehan still has the confidence to mix it up on 2nd & 3rd downs and we potentially take it in vs settling for a FG after running an incredible amount of time off of the clock. When you control the clock for 8-10 minutes, that's supposed to end with someone in the end zone. Period.

He's perfect for short yardage. Carry 4 active RBs. Whatever works.

His time will come when one of the top 3 rb's get injured. It is what it is.

If they were planning on keeping the FB, then that means you'd have to make inactive someone like Davon Coleman & La'el Collins to allow CM to play....not going to happen, and shouldn't (although personally I think Dunbar is a WR, which makes Lucky Whitehead a useless active player). He won't go in until one of the RBs are hurt.

Okay and who should we de-activate? We've got too many injuries right now to activate Michael unless one of the backs get hurt.

The OL needs to do a better job getting push because they are getting none so far. Randle ran hard and got as much as he could, but there was simply nothing all game until they wore down in the fourth quarter and got a little bit with DMC.

Ok. Help understand what purpose Clutts serves.

I would rather go unbalanced line without Clutts and put Michael back there on short yardage.

I'm just as eager as the next guy to see this kid, but I'm afraid you are right. The history of Jason Garrett suggest he is never in a hurry to get new running backs out there. And this particular case, it really doesn't make since because the OP is right...he has the size to be an improvement in short yardage situations.

I know it's not going to happen, but my vote would be D-Mac. Of course, I don't know the full implications of what that would mean to our pass protection, which became all the more critical this past weekend.

Which is exactly why it won't happen. McFadden is the best in pass protection of all three backs.

While I'm not quite on your level of enthusiasm, @Bleu Star , I do want to see Christine Michael get the ball 15 times to see what he can do.

Rewatch the game. Randle's and DMac ran well.

But some fans will never believe it or admit it. They just do not like these RBs. They can each have multiple 100 yard games and still want a change.
Same for Weeden, he can go out and be 18-25, 275 yards, 3 TD's but 1 int. they will harp on the int and want to bench him in favor of an unproven QB in Moore.

Or claim it was a lucky performance. Or that the RBs will come,up injured. So get them out of there now.

I really doubt they got scared when they didn't score from running the ball.
