If you still think we're an 8-8 squad after the draft then sure, let's go.

And I left the last guy I whooped off the hook anyway and never cashed in. Just havin a little fun with disagreements during the dead period of the year.
Right now, we have a lesser offensive line with less depth, a lesser pass rush, a depleted secondary, a tougher division, and a tougher schedule ahead.

A lot needs to happen, and quickly.

What I've said is, this thing right now looks like an 8-8 to 10-6 team. The defense is noticeably worse right now, and the looming schedule is much tougher.
Good thing the games don't start until September. You know, in 6 months.

Besides, not sure how the defense looks worse. Oh I forgot, it's not worse it's noticeably worse.

By the time the Cowboys add Smith, Tapper, couple more FA's, couple draft picks it will be noticeably better.

no serious chance at winning it all.
and get worse picks.

if we are not going to win, go for 4-12.
get war daddy that way.

Apparently we've been in hibernation. The season is apparently stating tomorrow.

Between Green and Cleary let the best man win. I'm good with whoever wins.

Yep. I'd also be okay with signing another vet for insurance if we're not completely confident in Cleary. But we drafted Green for a reason. He's only be in the league two years. Let's at least give him a shot before spending another 1st round pick on OL.

Not a surprise to the team...

This is interesting. I bet there is more that they know but are keeping Jerry muzzled, er uh, I mean keeping close to the vest. I predict a few surprises this offseason.

they did not want to pay 5m-9m aav.
so they may be waiting for the price to drop for a vet rt.

This is a blow, unplanned and no replacement with no real cap room to backfill. If he's just NOW advising the organization he screwed us. Can Dallas go after some signing bonus money?
he said he might retire after the season was over, and who knows, they might have asked him to take another paycut.

DJ Fluker anyone?

Thought about him as a possibility as well @Lurker01. He has underachieved based on what I thought he could be coming out of Bama. Problem is, the Chargers threw him at RG because he struggled at T. Maybe Dallas could put him at G and move either Collins or Martin but who knows.

He is supposed to visit the Giants.

Okay, I've read 14 pages of this.

If they move Collins to RT, it will be highly upsetting. Why not keep Leary if they knew Free was retiring?

I appreciate Free's career but it was time to go.

Those counting on Cooper. Why? Three teams in a short career.
