Guess that means Dak = Injured next year since Free was bad enough and we don't even have someone near as good as Free to replace him. :muttley:

If anybody would suffer it would be Zeke as Free was actually a good run blocker. He's bad in pass protection tho so Dak might actually benefit. Overall Free won't be hard to replace and I think Green can definitely do it...just a matter if he can stay on the field.

Chaz is next man up, but the team will have to add another option given his injury history.

They will find a veteran later in FA to compete with Green and Cleary. Also Free may have retired right after being told the team intended to cut him for the 5 MM cap savings.

His cap hit was $7.5m according to sportrac, can anyone confirm that is completely "Freed" up?

That can certainly pay for a veteran stopgap I would think, any available?

Well, the "anyone would be better than Doug Free" crowd should be happy.

There's a lot resting on Will McClay's shoulders this offseason to find some quality role players from under rocks.

Bring in Andre Smith

I feel like this is important enough to trade a 2018 4th or 5th round pick for someone's backup/swing T who might be blocked by starters?
