Any chance he could fit into Dallas 3-4 scheme? I know he doesnt have the size you typically want in a 3-4 linemen but he is a playmaker. With him having an off year statistically he might be had for a somewhat reasonable price and hes probably the closest thing to Haley thats been around in a while. Freeney, Ellis and Ware would make a nice pass rushing trio.

Are there going to be any other good DE available in FA?

I'm with you on Adalius Thomas that guy would fit perfectly on this D with a new D-Coordinator and/or headcoach because if not we would just waste his talent. No on Freeney if we were to keep the 3-4 because yea hes just too small and would get wore down by midseason

At least he is capable of beating his man thats 10 times more then either of Dallas DEs right now.

God forbid we added someone to pressure the QB. Haley was pretty one dimensional but that one dimension use to terrorize opposing teams. I could see Freeney playing some LB in our scheme as well.
