There were a ton of people who got to look right after the Cowboys lost to Minny in 2009. I read a couple of posts that lamented us even getting there because it was "clear" we couldn't go all the way that season, so what was the point? Almost ruined what was, IMO, the best Cowboys season since 1995. I'm hoping this season tops is.

We are all hoping this season tops it. Not sure what your point is? If people had the opinion on here we would lose to the Vikings who were a very solid team who hadn't lost at home then what is the big deal? Their opinions were spot on. You just don't like it if anyone thinks our team will lose, evev when it is likely they will.

Keep in mind that even though your fellow fan might think the Cowboys are going to lose a particular game, they will still be rooting just as hard if not harder than you for the Cowboys to win.

This team is on the right track as of now. Win or lose today, I believe we'll be a better team at the end of the year than what we are now. Anyone who doesn't think that'll be important going forward is seriously mistaken. Looking at our prospects at year's end, let's be looking at the real prize. I'm looking beyond today to later. The Cowboys will more than likely be on the upswing from here on out. This coaching staff comprises a winning combination of exceptional people. Sit back, be patient and enjoy the ride. Winning days lie awaiting just ahead. Win or lose today, we'll have much to be happy about in the longrun.

I don't think we will either, but this is the NFL and you never know what will happen every Sunday. The Boys' could come out and play like they did against the Saints and completely shock the world ... or play like they did last week and get dominated. I thought we were gonna get blown out against New Orleans, but we ended blowing them out so I guess I'll refrain from making any guarantees with this team. I definitely wouldn't be that upset with a loss if we kept it close with them, that would tell me that were ready to be contenders this season. However, I would be slightly disappointed if we get blown out because of stupid mistakes and etc., stuff that the Cowboys have shown to do the last few seasons. A loss though, whether it's a close game or blowout, doesn't matter much considering we'll either be in the lead of the NFC East or one game back by tomorrow morning and were still in October.

Yes, but the Saints were not looking good coming in to Dallas and still look bad. They barely beat the pathetic Bucs at home. Let's both be honest, Seattle is on a whole different level. Seattle at home is extremely tough to beat. I would love to be wrong.

I don't generally attack any opinion. I agree with you in that I think we will lose. I don't agree that we will mistake ourselves to death in this game - I think the team will be more focused on Seattle than any game thus far, and honestly, I think they don't have the pressure of being favorited, and will therefore have a higher degree of preparation than in other games. I still think they can't keep up with Seattle, and will make maybe a mistake here or there, but I don't think it will be a blood bath.

I really seriously like that post. I disagree with your opinion but certainly respect it. I hope your opinion is right and mine is wrong!

The Cowboys offense being legitimized or outed in this game isn't on my radar,,, I'm already convinced they have what it takes to be a contender no matter the outcome today in noisy Seattle. It's the defense that will be legitimized or outed today in my opinion. Can they be at least average or will they be really bad? If they can keep Seattle under 24 I'd call that a "win", especially since they may be getting some help from returning players this season.

This is just the way I want it to be for now, no one expects us to win the game, much less even be in it. Not one person I know thinks we have a chance and all say we get blown out. We are over due for an embarrassing loss and if it is so, then let it be tomorrow before we take on NY.

I like our chances much better when we are expected to lose. We still probably will, but lets make a game of it at least, maybe even have a chance to win in the end.

Expect the unexpected tomorrow, if we stick to the running game(Seattle's weakness in the middle), we could be in a dogfight!

Leave nothing on the field tomorrow gents, we are playing with house money and lets shock the nation!

:)

Wow, what a game. Spotted them 17 points and still won!

Seattle is going to curb stomp us. Their team takes advantage of every single mistake another team makes and we are team is full of mistakes. Romo throws a ball behind a receiver? It will be intercepted no questions asked, Murray doesn't secure the ball in traffic with 2 hands, it will be knocked out AND recovered by the Seahawks, We wait until 1 second to snap the ball... their defense will get a jump on our offensive line, etc. We are certainly headed for a beat down.

Closet Seahawks fan??????

I see their run defense the only kink(not broken but scratched a little) in the chain. They are not mediocre in the least, but I think that is where we need to attack. Run, run and run some more....that might open up some slants and seam routes.

Kudos. Looks like you were VERY right!
