Two years?
Kenny says, "you gotta know when to fold 'em"!

No way Jose. He needs to learn how to run that offense which includes finding his secondary et al receivers as well as just the pro game overall. He hasn't had the time to learn yet because of the injuries and playing in his offense in college. He's too talented to give up that quickly.

I would still take RGIII over Andy Dalton who has lead his team to first place with IMO dubious talent. There is a sliver of truth in Griffins quote.

I think the Bengals have some very good talent.

1-9 in his last 10 games?

He shouldn't be getting sacked so much when he can outrun ANYBODY in the NFL if he chooses.

I don't look at one parameter to decide nor would I use a team stat to decide at this point if the kid can play or not. His chances don't look the best but he deserves more time and he'll get it.

Yeah yeah... Lol I don't disagree with you. He will get a shot, then another shot with the raiders :)

Though, I would not be surprised if they found a way to trade him. Maybe multi player deal.

Bears gonna need another reject QB soon.

This is a big reason why I want the Cowboys to draft a QB next April and allow him to sit out his rookie year instead of waiting until we must have a QB and starting him right away.

There is so much to learn in the NFL, from the playbook, defenses, the physical training, etc. that mechanics get neglected when you start right away and are not ready to play. In RG3's case, he performed pretty good his rookie season, but it was based on a gimmicky offense that NFL defenses were soon going to find out how to contain. And when he had to beat teams with his Quarterback *skill* instead of his raw athleticism, he couldn't. That may have not been the case had he sat on the bench for his rookie season where he could learn the NFL game and work on his mechanics. Now they have him in the WCO which requires even better mechanics, especially with footwork.

If you can't learn how not to do things from Washington, then you deserve to fail.

I've never heard a head coach talk so brutally honest about his QB.

Frustrations boiling over throughout that entire organization. Everyone saying some things that perhaps they shouldn't.

From Brian Mitchell blasting them in the local media, to DeSean Jackson's internet comments, to Griffin's poor choice of words, all the way up to the head coach.

That entire franchise needs to regroup before this thing gets even worse and people start losing their jobs.

I use to say, I don't fear a mike Vick led team. I can now say that about Robert . I hope he stays a skin for life. Controversy will always follow him. The media will see to that

But you know had Romo said what Rg3 said, he would have been crucified for mentioning those two in relation to the game he just played (and Romo is light years closer to those two than rg3). There is nothing good that could come out of comparing your situation to those of elite players if you yourself are not in that company

And Cowboys fans would be complaining that people are taking Romo's comments out of context.

Synder seems to get a free pass for being a piss poor owner.

Who's giving him a free pass? Snyder gets hammered a lot. The difference between him and Jerry Jones is that Jerry Jones is ALWAYS speaking to the media; Snyder is not. Jerry's national media exposure is greater than Snyder's.

Some would...but others (and we know who they are on this board) would be verbally smacking him for having the audacity to mention himself in the same breathe of the elite QB crew.

Hang in there, stash. Your Commanders will bounce back.
