I like him too. During the end Of the 2005 regular season, Perry started to shOw some competent running skills. However, I think the Eagles are looking for more consistency in moving the chains and a workhorse back should the opportunity become available. He'll have to beat earn his spot and prove he's worthy!

PERSONAL
Resides in South Jersey. Single and has a daughter, Kaylah (9/19/02). His family remains in the East Oak Lane section of Philadelphia.
Rushed for 1,041 yards and 12 touchdowns as a senior in high school.
Named the Philadelphia offensive player of the year by the Philadelphia Inquirer and first-team All-Metro by the Philadelphia Daily News.
Was also named first-team all-state and first-team all-area, and was a finalist for state player of the year honors.
Spent his sophomore and junior years at Cardinal Dougherty HS and his freshman season at West Catholic HS in Philadelphia.
His mother, Robbin, is a detective for the city's district attorney's office. His father, Kevin, is a Philadelphia fireman.
Is the oldest of five children (2 brothers, 2 sisters).
Has aspirations to work in the television industry, both in front of and behind the camera.
Would like someday to attend culinary school so that he may become a chef. His best dish is salmon.
Is an avid movie fan and DVD collector. He boasts 200 movies in his collection and purchased 48 in the week leading up to Super Bowl XXXIX.
His first purchase was "The Matrix" but his favorite is "Scarface."

COLLEGE
Finished his career at Maryland ranked fourth on the school's all-time rushing list (2,424 yards) despite suffering through a variety of injuries over his last two seasons.
In 2001, he rushed for 1,294 yards and caught 40 passes en route to becoming a Doak Walker Award finalist (top running back in the nation) and the ACC's offensive player of the year.
As a senior in 2003, he rushed 147 times for 713 yards and 6 TDs in just 9 games (4 starts).
In final regular season game, he rushed for 237 yards and 3 TDs vs. Wake Forest.
Saw action as a true freshman in 1999 before redshirting in 2000.
