Yep. That's what they're saying -- but we won't really Know until he puts On the cap (headgear, not the money).

Uncertain what positions the Cowboys are looking to solidify, but I sure hope the Eagles are looking to establish a strong running game this year. That West Coast passing business can really place a team into a 1 dimensional configuration.
Right you are. The Defense was caught off guard when the West Coast Offense came into its own. Ten the Double 2 coverage shut that down and WCO teams were struggeling. Now the big thing is 3-4 defenses since Pitts won a championship with it. Its a copy cat league and what ever is working will be copied till the D figures out how to stop that. Then every one copies that D and then the O has to get creative again. Circle of football ftw.

Drafthype.com reports that the Philadelphia Eagles will select a running back with the No. 14 selection in the 2006 NFL Draft in April. Westbrook, Moats, and ?

Any site that has Ahmad Brooks listed in their top 50, is clueless. Brooks isn't coming out....

Nothing wrong with youth! But surely you've delved into some COwboy history, or heard someone you know mention Tony Dorsett! It really wasn't that long ago ...or was it? Tick ...tock ...

I'd know more if he was a Commander...it has been about 20 years since he's played though! lol

Living near Philly, We have been hearing here that Andy Reid wants to run the ball a lot more often this season, that said I would think with Runyan most likely gone and Tra Thomas injury questions they would go O-Line first. Comcast and WIP both think McNeil, the Tackle from Auburn is a good fit or Maybe a DT.

No question Philly should draft the best RB available when their pick comes up.

Some scouting reports list him as a better receiver out of the backfield and better at blitz pickup.

I don't think you go wrong with either guy.
I can't imagine a physical guy like white won't be a good blocker...I also believe he has decent hands...I'm guessing the line on him is that he's never been on the field in passing situations due to Reggie Bush. I'd take the guy I thought was the best runner...I think they'll both be good at the other stuff...and unless they're cutting Westbrook, he'll be the 3rd down back anyway.

That said, Marooney is supposed to be much better than Barber III, and since Barber looked very prepared for the NFL as a rookie, that probably ups Marooney's stock.
