So while Dak had a good year I have to tap the breaks and think 5th best in the league is way to high. Right now. I thought SAS was banned from here. My personal top ten...
Brady
Rodgers
Wilson
Brees
Luck
Ryan
Cam
Eli
Rothelsberger
Cousins

My next five
Rivers
Winston
Carr
Mariota
Dak

The respectable club no certain order
Stafford
Dalton
Flacco
Bradford
Palmer
Tannehill
Smith
Cutler
Taylor

I would probably put the entirety of your 2nd group ahead of Eli. Dak might be the exception, simply because the sample size is too small. Eli is no better than 15 or so IMO. That is where he fits consistently through his career. I would probably drop Cam, Luck, and Wilson at least a few spots each. Carr would be a lot higher (ahead of all three of the others I just mentioned). Stafford would actually jump a bit as well (above Eli).

COnsidering how much you called dak a noodle arm this season, im not surprised. At this point though, thats a really hard list to argue with. Eli is proven, Dak only has one season under his belt. If he puts up numbers like he did last season this coming season, that hierarchy may change.

I didn't say Dak had a noodle arm. You have me confused with someone else.
I gave Eli the nod over Dak based on experience and despite Eli's ups and downs, he had a string of playoff performances that were top level. I just can't NOT factor that in.
But Dak has an opportunity to be a better quarterback than Eli over the long haul.

You forgot about Wentz. He is definitely above Brady or so I have been told by posters on this board.

I'm not sold on Cousins and would not be surprised he tanks after getting a contract

If I was starting a team today, Dak would be my #1 choice of the 4 starting NFCEs QBs. Eli is so up and down you have no idea what you get with him. Is he on the decline? Is he an elite QB? Cousins seems to come up short when it matters. Wentz has a lot to prove and will have the weapons and improved OL this year to show he can be legit.

I can see that as well.

The NFCE has some excellent QBs. Insomuch as I'm trying to be objective, I'll say it's a tie between Dak, Cousins and Eli.

Wentz gets a generous tip of the hat for his upside and faring somewhat respectably, despite a considerably less than adequate OL.

Having said as much, I also can't help awaiting with delicious anticipation to see how much Dak Prescott improves this season (knowing all too well how he's working intensely to amaze and delight his fans in 2017.) :)

If Dak can play at the same Pro Bowl level he did during his Rookie of the Year season, he is the best QB in the division and likely top 5 in the league. It will be fun watching him play this year. He's the real deal.

LOL

Dak is probably about #15 in the NFL right now. Which is fine.

In the division:

Eli
Prescott/Wentz (we won't know for 2-3 seasons)
Cousins

Wentz is what bottom 20s?

Based on last year we know Prescott is better than Wentz and this all we have so it is fair to say Dak is better.

I'd say Eli is better. Dak has potential to be better but he isn't yet. My qb rankings are:

Brady
Rodgers
Ryan
Brees
Big Ben
Rivers
Cam
Eli
Wilson
Prescott

Winston and Marriotta are right there too IMO
