I think the infatuation around here to take Orchard with 27th pick is a bit much.

Malcolm brown can play both 1 and 3 tech,it would be a mistake to assume he is a strictly a 1 tech.I really like him but i bet he will be crazy good at the combine and go way up in the rankings.

I've watched a good bit of Brown. I can't quite decide if he would really be a 3tech option or just strictly a 1tech type player. He's a great college player no doubt. He has some quickness for a big guy, but a lot of his game is overpowering college players. I'm sure he will be a good 1tech in the NFL and would be a good Marinelli type 1tech; however, I don't know if he a true pass rushing type DT in the NFL.

This might only make sense in my own mind, but he seems like a guy that should either be rated much much higher than 20 something or he shouldn't be a 1st rounder at all depending on how good of a pass rusher he projects to be in the NFL. If he is a legit NFL pass rushing DT, then with his size he should go top half of the 1st. If he's not a legit NFL pass rushing DT then I don't see him as a good option as a 1st rounder.

IMO I do not think we get to decide on Brown he seems to be gaining popularity these last couple of weeks. He would be on my short list if he fell to 27.

In that scenario I'd rather trade down or draft either Brown or Orchard. Love Reed in round four I think he may end up being a steal, guy played hurt all year.

I think Brown will go in the top 15, he's a guy you have to worry about and this draft doesn't have many of those of the defensive side.

Yep, I figured that out when draftbreakdown only came up with game footage for the RB when I typed in Malcolm Brown.

Isnt that Crawfords game? He is not beating anybody with speed. Guy gets under his guy and drives him back. Thats why i have always said he would be better at the 1tech
