BTW ....... we have now locked down our interior Oline for the 5-8 years. Imagine their impact after 2 years playing together.

Alabama played Michigan in the Reliaquest Bowl on Dec. 31 and, as work in Florida commenced for the Tide and a practice concluded, Tyler Booker called his teammates up and told them that anyone considering opting out of the game would have to go through him first. This was a player, by the way, who was credited in that program for helping the coaches get JC Latham pointed in the right direction the year before. So now you know why a lot of NFL folks call the guy the Cowboys took with the No. 12 pick an Alpha.

We HOPE our interior is locked down. Booker is not a guaranteed star player at his position

hes arguably the most NFL ready OL we have drafted other than Martin - stop trying to find the negative in the pick, it was a great one and no risk whatsoever outside of a freak injury

You can add Guyton in there too. I know many are uncertain about him. But we knew he needed a year when he was drafted. We'll see a different player in September.

Guyton didn't show any flashes last year, and that concerns me. When Tyler Smith was drafted, he was in the same position, raw and needed a lot of work but you could see the potential for dominance was there from the outset.

So? Trevor Lawrence was supposed to be a generational talent, hell I remember people saying Bobby Carpenter was the safe pick. Nothing is guaranteed

Booker is all talk. He needs to shut up for now and do the work as a pro. If he doesn't, he will be perceived as a loudmouth with no skins on the wall as a rookie. He can be a great leader but first he has to be a great follower. I don't think he can do that. Fans meet your next great bust.
