Funny thing is the Cowboys can still make playoffs

Amazing how close the Cowboys are at one end to the #1 pick, and only a couple games out of 1st place at the other. Couple that with the fact that they can eliminate the Commanders themselves, and Bradford being out several weeks makes the Eagles a losing skid realistic. I could see the Giants losing three out of their next four.

I know we are going to sacrifice draft position by putting Romo out there, but the season does still have a heartbeat, so my thinking is no matter how remote the possibility, the fans are owed the chance to try.

I think what's painful for everyone is the simple fact that we've had a legitimate chance to win most of these games but both the offense and defense choke in the 4th quarter literally every single game.

I think that's fair to say we are probably 6-1 in those games with Romo as the QB. One reason for optimism the rest of the way.

The defense lost us two games on their own easily. Just saying, its not all one persons fault, plenty of blame to be spread around, but if the focus gets put on one person, one unit or one player the problem will not be fixed.

With 7 games remaining, it's not nearly as close as it looks. It's one thing to be 2 games behind the division leader, but when you're 2+ games behind all 3 teams, that's very tough to overcome. Not impossible, but any slip at all means 1,2, or all 3 teams pick up another game.

We are only 2 and a half games out of a wildcard as well. The NFC East is pretty pathetic but so is the NFC. I would say a wildcard will be a tougher feat considering we lost to both the Falcons and Seahawks though. We will play everyone close, maybe Romo is enough to actually win these games. I don't know.

The NFC as a whole, only has 5 winning teams at this point in the season, 2 of those 5 teams are in the midst of losing streaks (Atl and GB). I would bet that this may be the first time this has ever happened. Now I would say that we have slim chances to make the playoffs but I wouldn't surprised if we have two 8-8 or losing teams in the playoffs.

OMG are you freaking serious, what team 2 games out of first place of the division after the halfway point of the season made the playoffs is the real question.

Quick being so caught up on the ugly record and look at the overall picture.
