iceberg said:in all fairness, the legendary scott david put it like this to me before the season started.
1. he'll win a few for us
2. he'll cost us a few
3. he'll be indifferent the rest of the games in regard to the "deciding" factor.
i don't deny he's won a few for us and had some outstanding games. i don't deny overall his season has been more than i expected.
however, the tail end of the season IS what i expected him to do - falter. looking at numbers and ratings, you can see that. i'm sure those on either side can pull up "running game" this injury or that injury and if that explained THIS year that would be great.
but it's his career and we've got about what you'd expect from drew. bp knows he must keep him protected, knows he'll hold on too long, and has NOT gotten him an OL to counter his "achilese heel" (sp, sorry)
can you build a dominate line in a year? maybe, not likely. 2 years? more likely IF you make good moves now. that said our line won't be what drew needs till drew is about out the door. can we build it up enough to get "close enough"?
we can only hope, love drew or hate him he's all we've got.

End of discussion.
Doomsday101 said:Your wrong, he will be moved to safety. LOL
DBoys said:He cost us 1 game.
He has won 6.
To blame Bledsoe for the other defeats is absurd. We lost 3 games because of kickers. That put's us at 13-3 and we would not be having this discussion. If you want to summarize this season and what went wrong.
1) OL troubles ( C, RT, LT)
a) Running game
b) Protection and sacks
2) FS position and Henry being hurt
3) Kicker
4) LB Dat and Als going down (Fujita and Fowler are playing good)
superpunk said:You're right. I forgot. Our french long snapper is the future.
Doomsday101 said:You got it. The way he hikes the ball with that tight spiral I can't wait to see him passing the ball between his legs to Crayton and Glenn. LOL
CactusCowboy said:He is good when well protected, he in NOT awesome.
iceberg said:well since your entire stance danced w/absurdity why am i not surprised you're still boasting your drew-underoos?
a lot went wrong this season. but before i really go on, which game do you put at drews feet??? wins AND losses? and if we had a good 'team' effort that won, i hope you're not gonna lob it over to drews side just because it's a win and has to go somewhere.
pony up ponyboy. which games did he win for us and which ONE did he lose?
DBoys said:I am talking come from behind victories that he engineered.
1) San Diego
2) San Francisco
3) Giants game 1
4) Philadelphia game 2
5) Kansas City
6) Carolina
If your talking regular games that he won for us
1) Philadelphia game 1
2) Arizona
3) Detroit
Defeats he played poorly in
1) Seattle
2) Giants game 2
Defeats not his fault
1) Oakland
2) Washington game 1 and 2
3) Denver

superpunk said:Jerruh's ten steps ahead of you. There's a 10 year old in Topeka Kansas, that throws a mean deep ball, but his true love is baseball. Jerruh's already secured his rights. He'll be failing here in a little over a decade.

iceberg said:i see your drew love makes you one sensitive guy. but you didn't name the ONE that was his fault, did you? but now we're up to (2) and NOW you choose to define the question after you've already given a rediculous answer.
maybe you should stick to grammar correcting.
DBoys said:Nope not at all. The Seattle loss was his fault because of the INT. To be honest I did not understand what you were talking about so I covered my bases. You sure your eyes aren't playing tricks on you again?
You said before you go on answer this... and I did. Where is your response? Break it down for me...
iceberg said:why? i said there'd be a couple of wins because of him, a couple of losses, and the rest he's not really the deciding factor. in "covering your bases" you ended up more or less agreeing with me, so why go on?
I've been sitting here all year wondering why we've not played Henson, and why we're not getting rid of Henson.Fletch said:Now, after all of my expressed man-love for Bledsoe, I would like to see the Cowboys put more stock into their backups, or go out and draft a young QB with pedigree.
Bledsoe is a damn good QB, but he is not getting any younger, and I do not want to see our Cowboys handicapped at that position when Bledsoe hangs em up.
