Just putting it out there, babe just said on the score w/ Tim McMahon and bill jones that coordinator changes could still happen.

He mentioned that the coaches were all on vacation this week and that the team didn't like the reaction they got after firing rob Ryan while he was on vacation last year.

He then speculated that he didn't know if anything would happen but marinelli becoming the dc and norv turner becoming the oc were perfect fits and make a lot of sense.

To contrast that Rick gosselin was on w/ mike doocy and said that he didn't think any changes would be made. He also said there is some thought Callahan and Garrett don't mesh we'll together?

Who knows, the vacation point is an interesting aspect I haven't seen brought up though.

IMO, the idea of marinelli and turner as coordinators under Garrett under Jerry is extremely depressing.

I still think marinelli brings his son n law here from sd and gets promoted though.

2014 is going to be awful.

RM and Norv is probably the best cast scenario. Not sure what some of you guys want, considering that garrett is definitely staying.

Callahan and Kiffin is worst case scenario.

I don't know what to think but if we had Norv and Rob as our coordinators, we would be better off than retaining Kiffin and Callahan in their current roles. But, it is a double-edged sword.

I am becoming more appeased to the idea of keeping everything the same in a do or die season though. If they fail again, then clean house....all of it and start from scratch.

My biggest worry is bringing in Norv under the assumption that he could possibly be interim head coach as a plan B. This is undermining Garretts's job just as it did with Wade, same scenario basically.

Can't believe it is so hard to have one chief instead of many around there. Well, we do have one chief who has smoked too much Peyote who changes direction like a Texas tumbleweed.

As a popular Texas Hold-Em saying..........just let-it-ride and see where the cards take us. I don't want Norv to be the next head coach at all.

So all we know is that we know nothing.

Well... Thanks for passing along the info anyways.

Well we know the coaches were on vacation all week and due back tomorrow so that's something I guess.

Getting a little tired of the annual revelation that one of the coaches on the team doesn't mesh with Jason Garrett.

Ray Sherman? Nope.

Skip Peete? Nope.

Rob Ryan? Nope.

Now Bill Callahan?

Hey Jason, maybe it's not everyone else.....maybe it's you.

time to fire the water boy... you know, the players weren't getting enough fluids, so if we get a new waterboy, that should be enough for an extra 2 victories to launch us into the play-offs.

I would love for Norv to get in here and work with Tony for two or three years if Tony's back can hold up that long. I always thought Norv would've been the perfect coach for Tony after Parcells left. If Jerry wouldn't of been so hell bent on hiring Garrett before the Head Coach hiring I think Norv would've been here as the Head Coach.

Norv didn't want Garrett calling plays back then because he'd never done it.

Honestly, I can't be mad at Garrett. It isn't his fault. Who would turn down a position where you're getting paid millions upon millions of dollars and have no real accountability, but have a built in excuse system for you at every turn? Garrett's development as a head coach is being ruined by Jerry Jones' ego... Jerry keeps Garrett in there because to Jerry, it's not about winning. It's about winning Jerry's way, and losing is acceptable if he can't win his way. Garrett should still be an assistant and spending more years learning the game with some of the best coaches in the league, gaining the knowledge necessary to sustain a long career as head coach. Instead, he was fast tracked into a position he wasn't ready for and the results bear witness to that. Who will hire Garrett as a HC after the performances he's had here? And I can't blame him for those performances because he should still be learning the game somewhere. It's like Jerry still wants to prove HE was the cause of those 3 superbowls in the 90s and not Jimmy Johnson, so we get what we have today. Fast tracking someone into positions they are not ready for is not a positive thing. It's like me getting some guy off the street who is a pretty solid street fighter and instead of slowly allowing him to progress up the ranks, I'm tossing him against champs. I've essentially ruined his career because I didn't give him time to develop gradually and learn how to compete against that top competition and his record is now littered with losses.

That was a little heartless.

Exactly... And don't forget Tony.

But this is the same guy who said he wouldn't do anything different after the Cards and Ravens losses, among many other times.

Perhaps those are really assistant coaches. What if they were brought in only to be part of the training system JJ has installed.

this training nonsense...Jones and his big, fat mouth....Garrett already had little say (in just about everything), but Jones wanted to make sure that everyone knew he had zero say

All I think is the situation is like a college course...everyone in the class has to work get a B grade or higher or they are automatically failed in the class, while garrett is taking the course as pass/fail....he has no real accountability other than to show up, spew what the teacher is saying and get the checkmark...no worries about a GPA...I can just hear the sounds of JJ at the chalkboard with the chalk tapping against the slate, Garrett off to the side looking out of the window at a tree, where two squirrels are chasing each other's tails, fighting over that last nut of the season, while the rest of the coaches have to take notes because the pop quiz comes soon and those that don't get that "B" grade have to repeat the class with some other instructor

the irony is that the FO are the real squirrels and those in the room are the nuts for even taking the course in the first place

....I digress....

it is a process of meshing

most processes are 4-5 year processess in garrett-land

I do not think it makes a lot of difference if they change coaches. It really just does not matter anymore.

To contrast that Rick gosselin was on w/ mike doocy and said that he didn't think any changes would be made.

I watched both shows last night (Babe and Doocy) and what resounded more than anything was what Goose said about Bilicheck. He said that no other HC coaches up a 53-man roster better than BB. In addition, he said that BB devises game plans to attack an opponent's weaknesses and minimize their strengths; it is a week-to-week opponent-to-opponent strategy. After watching NE play this weekend, I do not doubt it. I wish the Dallas coaches were capable of such game planning.
