FWIW I was blown away driving by the new stadium...

I've only seen it from Collins St. but it's quite a sight. I got a feeling that getting in and out of the stadium and parking in the area is gonna be kinda tight.

Given the importance of the stadium it should have been on the highest spot in the Metroplex. I'm not from DFW, so where is that high spot?

Well, it used to be really near Quincy Carter's house. But since he's left town, I'd guess it's wherever Josh Howard is?

Season tickets?

If not, where did you buy them?

Thank You

I reserved them through Cowboys Coral. http://cowboyscorral.com

Their phone number is on the web site. If you call them, talk to Barry and tell him you are with Sara Davis' corral.

I would have season tickets if I lived near Dallas, but I'm stuck here looking at the ocean from my lanai (porch) in Hawaii everyday.

I get a giggle on the bottom of their HP, where they have this package option...

You can meet "Rowdy", the official mascot of the Cowboys!! Smile and take your picture with Rowdy.

Wonder how much the package price is to be able to "Smile and take your 9-iron to Rowdy's dopey foam head"!?

I post this for you out of towners ...

I'm from Dallas, but for the first time I drove by the new stadium a few days ago. Wow, pictures can't do it justice.

Reliant Stadium is the second biggest NFL stadium I read, but it's 10-15 percent smaller than Jerry's palace.

The new place is right on the street ... in a working-class neighborhood with few multi-level structures ... maybe that's why it stands out so much. ..

It's colossal and about takes your breath away. I was so interested I looked up the specs .. it's 292 feet tall ... and goes about a quarter mile in length. ... imagine a 30-story building six blocks long, that's the new stadium.

The field is 50 feet underground, so if you have first row seats, you're looking up at a 35-story roof ..

It's going to be the world's largest enclosed single space/room (when the roof is closed, that is ...) ... this fact accd. to the Cowboys site ...

The impressive and expansive west end-zone plaza opens up on Collins St., a four or six(?)-lane street, kind of a thoroughfare for Arlington .... everyone going past will rubberneck gazing at the thing ... an awesome sight.

Srry I'm bragging as if I was Jerry ... but it's freaking amazing. A Taj Mahal amongst the muffler shops and Taco Bells in that part of Arlington ... hey I like Arlington ... it's not a tawdry scene ... it's a working class, but clean, neighborhood ..

You out of town fans should buy tickets next year, a destination, just to see the thing ...

Sorry if I'm obvious-man and everyone has already seen it, I write this post for the shut-ins like me ..

It's going to be a perfect target for terrorists.

Very sad to say in our world today, but it's true. I've always thought that given the importance of the arches, that they should be extremely protected.

That said, I'm sure the team, NFL, city, FBI, et al. have considered it and are doing what they can to protect it, the team and the fans.

It should be an amazing place to take in a game, and I can't wait to do so.

First seats were installed today. They don't look fatty-friendly.

I dunno, they seem to V out some.

They look like hard plastic. You'd think they'd be cushioned. The seats in Jerry's suite sure will be.

Being from the Great White North I will probably never get there so I will have to worship it from my living room in HD........

...that the Cowboys will render the seats useless with their stellar play and keep the crowd on their feet.

There's a video on the star telegram's website showing the seats being installed last week and two lucky season ticket holders getting to try them out.Supposedly the seats are taller and wider than the seats at TS.

I am fascinated by stadiums (just a hobby of mine) and have been to many of the great ones. I can only imagine how great the Forum in Rome was back in Ancient times

This stadium that Jerry is building is truly a work of art, I have looked at every detail possible that is available on the internet and I truly give him credit for an incredible job that is being done

I plan on being there next year for sure to see it with my own eyes, and in the Superbowl which the Commanders will play in down there ;)
