Another Change: Don't Talk to the Evil Media

Cowboys coach Wade Phillips said after the season changes were coming, and apparently one of them includes to avoid talking to the evil media. Period.

According to a source, all Cowboys coaches have been directed by Jerry Jones not to talk to the media.

Myself and another reporter saw Phillips in a hotel lobby here in Indianapolis and asked if he had some time and he said, "No. I can't. Against the rules."

We asked, "Whose?"

He smiled and walked away.

According to a source, a memo was sent out to all coaches before the Senior Bowl last month stating that coaches were not to talk to the media. They've have followed suit.

Under former Cowboys coach Bill Parcells, it was a common practice that assistants were allowed only to talk beginning after the draft until the first preseason game and then they shut up.

When Wade took over, assistants were allowed to talk.

Because there is a perception that there are "leaks" at Valley Ranch, the Cowboys are apparently trying to control any potential ones in assistant coaches.

The head coach here is a complete joke.

The fact that the guys are not allowed to talk because one of them might have a different opinion on owens is so sad and sorry.

Jerry is stooping to new lows.

If the assitants dont talk to the media that is fine, welcomed actually. For the owner to gag the head coach and the head coach to go along with it at this point after all the nonsense these two have been responsible for is pure comedy.

No one talk to the media is all about keeping these guys from saying anything either way about owens.

What a sad sorry group of people we have that run this franchise.

After all the nonsense to install a gag order now, that includes the head coach is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard.

I cant wait till the next phone call to galloway.

what is a joke is that you think that Owens is the one they will talk about, they could have comments they want to say about Romo, Garrett, Newsome, Witten, Ellis, Henry anyone, it is not all about T.O.
