Dude, you are on a public message board. Jerry could give a rats arse if you are willing to give him another try or not. Last time I checked, Jerry owns the franchise and it is worth almost $1.5 billion.

You got that type of coin? If you do, then go buy the team and make all the "correct decisions". Otherwise, you are just a fan and you have absolutely 0% impact on the team or on what Jerry does.
You are an observer just like the rest of us so you can either start being a little more postive about the situation or you can moan and groan about something you have absolutely no control over.

I really dislike when people use this completely obvious, but banal response.

Of course Alexander, like every member of this board, including you is just an observer of the team.

Why should Cowboyszone.com even exist if we are just observers of the team and our opinions don't matter at the end of the day?

It exists so fans can come together, get up-to-date news, voice their opinions and debate the issues surrounding the team.

There wouldn't even be a reason to come here and debate the issues if the only counter-argument and rebuttal was "You are just a message board poster, your opinion doesn't matter to Jerry Jones anyway".

Instead of pulling that useless trump card, you should focus on trying to change Alexander's mind and/or strengthening your own position with facts and a cogent argument.

Don't mean to preach, just kind of sucks when the old "Your opinion doesn't matter anyway because you are a fan" contention is used.

This thread should just end with this post. It is dead on. The next step up for gaine is Irelands former position. The next step up from there is Stephens position, and the final step the gm is Jerry's.

Why would a talented man in his early 40s stay when the best he can accomplish is to know he has leveled off professionally. It makes no sense.

oh good god, the mutual admiration society is busy backslapping agian.

alexander makes all kinds of arrogant assumptions about advancement. well, since jones is ONLY the GM that can be the only position not up for grabs. so since that's taken, no one will ever want to come to dallas.

wah.

i really get tired of personal hatred masking itself as truth and then others going "YEA!" just because they share that hatred.

if you don't like the owner so much it hurts you this bad, follow the success to miami and go. be free.

plenty of room for fans and advancement in miami i hear! makes you wonder why people stick around if all they do is whine like unpaid hookers.

when your mind is made up already, these are easy to blow off. no one will change the mind of someone like him and others who just hate.

The Buzzards Are Circling...

Bill does this where ever he goes and he Always builds a winner.Maybe
some don't define success by nothing short of a superbowl, but we were
5-11 three years in a row and this team is now built to compete at a
higher level.Bill riding off into the sunset, lol.Miami is where he is now and
we can only hope Jerry will have the right people to manage Our team
at the same level. Some times we don't realize what we have until it's gone.

technically - by your own mantra, he was still responsible for 1.

30% and all is about 1/3. do i need to do the math from here or are you with me on this one?

Dude seriously, are you that dense?

If he got 30%, then he got 30% for all of them.

According to you he would've received 0% for 2 of the Super Bowls and 100% for the third one, even though most of the team for that third Super Bowl was comprised of players who won in the other two, which according to you he would've received 0% credit.

That is totally illogical, but it's what I've grown to expect from you. ;)
