Just trust me on this mmmmmmmmmmmmmmkay. Im never wrong about the Cowboys. One time I thought I was wrong about something, but in the end I was wrong on that cuz I was actually RIGHT! :D Trust me, It'llll all be O.k. The world isnt gonna stop spinning because of a THIRD string QB. Well, next year he will be 2nd string but thats over a year away soooooooo why worry. We could all be dead by then anyway ;)

I'd take Henson over Bollinger.

I still think Beck was the right option but Carolina beat us to the punch. If we make a QB move (and I hope we do) the only good option is Simms. We're talking about the guy who will likely be our #2 in 2009.

Bollinger as the #2? Gag. I'd rather have Brad Johnson back for yet another year of FG and PAT holding duties.
I think you mean McCown. I would have liked him, too.

I saw the throwing on the move in the last preseason game was much more natural for Bollinger than Bartel.............Bartel was a younger Bledsoe, when forced to throw on the move they were generally one-hoppers in the dirt...

Hey Bollinger cant be all bad.........he's a born in North Dakota boy.....played his h.s. football in Grandforks..........

and to top it all off..........he was drafted 2X by the Dodgers.....he's a baseball player!!!!!!!!!

Brooks is fine with me.....i see the upside, more romo-esque than Bartel, OLine can react the same as with romo when things break down, run the same roll out paks etc

......Not me. Tries to force wayyyyyyyyy too many throws with his big arm. Can be a turnover machine. Sure, he can make some mighty fine plays now and then, but those positive plays are outweighed by the drive killing, game changing, impulse throws. Nope,....I want a nice steady eddie with a little mobility as my backup....

.......Excellent post. Bartels a statue. An inaccurate one at that. Defenses will bring the heat on him like you cant believe. Thats when the big turnovers come. Now Bollinger, with his skill set a team can gameplan around that. Do some little things to matriculate that ball down the field and milk out a win without the big turnovers.

if brad johnson gave the cowboys a ringing endorsement, he should be cut too. this is idiotic.

i'm not judging bollinger on 1 pre season game...he has 5 years of crap to be judged on.

I meant beat us to the punch by making a deal for one of their QBs. I'd have taken either McCown or Beck.

..........Sorry but your wrong. Dead wrong. As Ive posted earlier, so far his body of work as an NFL QB has been better than Quincy Carters and Chad Hutchinson, two guys who started for us. Its also been better than Rodney Peete, a guy that was Aikmans primary backup in a championship year. You either are judging him on ONE preseason game or your just pulling uneducated guesses out of your arse.

............What exactly was it that you saw in Bollinger that you didnt like? Was it his coachability? His willingness to play to his strengths, his good mobility and escapability? Or was it his lack of turnovers , good completion percentage, and relatively high yards per attempt???:lmao:

Bill Jones said on the score last night that many in the organization dislike bollinger, but garrett was pulling for him because he knows him as a player and like him.

SHould be interesting to see who wins the tug of war.

I am imagining there was a tug of war with the dbs and campo won that too.

..........Nope, just a halfway knowledgable fan who wants my team to be in the best shape it can be in. Also a fan who would seem to be thinking along the same lines as the front office and coaching staff. You know, ...the guys who are paid millions of dollars to actually know what their talking about instead of just forming opinions that arent fact based.....;)

You might wanna learn how to sepll before anyone considers you knowledgeable on here. People who use the words nuthin & cuz and except instead of accept in proper terms won't be taken serious. Try not using the quick reply so much and you might be able to edit your sentences better.

................Thats STUPID thinking. Grammar and spelling are FAR LESS important than the content. Ive found it quite common that grammar police are usually fairly uniniformed on the subject at hand and try to make up for it by deflecting criticism onto someones grammar. A rose is a rose by any other name. Get it???...........;)

I imagine Brian Stewart had some say in the party that won, because he's a former Dback coach
