FWST : Cam could be the man for the Cowboys

Galloway gets more senile every year. If Romo were 35, sure, draft his replacement. But at 31? No way. If Newton or Mallett is there in round 3, maybe, draft em, coach em up and trade em.

elite QB are not 1-3 in post season. I have been saying all along Dallas shouldnt rule out QB anywhere in draft.

Manning started out losing his first 3 playoff games.

How many playoff games did Manning win out of his first 9............3!!!!

Thats right, the greatest QB of all time started out 0-3 in the playoffs and after his first 9 playoff games, he only won 3 of them for his playoff record to stand at 3-6.

He then had a magical 2006 season when he won the SB. However, since that season, his playoff record has been 2-4.

Outside of that one magical season, Peyton Manning has played 15 playoff games and has won a grand total of 5. Thats right, the greatest QB of all time is 5-10 if you take out that one SB season. Throw in that one magic season and he is 9-10 in his playoff career.

Based on your logic, Manning is not "Elite".;)

Stupid stupid statement.

well Peyton is not the greatest qb of all time to start with or he would not have come up small in so many playoff games. Now a fair number of them he played decently; but he has RARELY had a great game in the playoffs. Unlike Aikman or Montana or some others that deserve consideration as GQBOAT.

Lets assume the very worst: Nick Fairley stays in school. We're on the clock with 10 seconds left, and though Jerry has been frantically working the phones, no one is trading up. The first eight picks have fallen like this, in no particular order...

Patrick Peterson
Da'Quan Bowers
A.J. Green
Marcell Darius
Blain Gabbart
Prince Amukamara
Robert Quinn
Von Miller

Who do you pick?

If the answer is "the best player left," who do you think is at the top of the Dallas board?

I don't think any position can be ruled out, including QB.

They already have that scenario in their plans and they know who they would pick and it is not a QB!

You just don't pick a player in the top ten that you realistically believe will not play for you for at least 4 years - thats just stupid no matter if he is the best player left.

%@$#!$#@$ NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If we're gonna take a QB, I'd prefer Blaine Gabbert.

I'm not as anti-drafting a qb as most simply because I think with the 9th pick you have kind of an obligation to swing for the fences. We may (hopefully) not be in position to have this high a pick for a long time.

Maybe. Probably. But that doesn't answer the question. :)

Who is it?

Any number of players who will not play QB and whose name is not cam newton?

So compare the number of Super Bowls won by each team in the same time period.
:lmao2:

Which, :lmao: no seriously, I can't breath, :lmao2: which one do you think, holy crap....:laugh2: which one do you think Green Bay would rather have?
:lmao: :lmao:

We've got a whole lot of winning seasons...:lmao2: :lmao2: :lmao2: :lmao2:

Or we've got three Super Bowls....:lmao:

OMG, it's killing me, killing me I tell ya.

Be glad I went to sleep.

What you suggest is exactly my point. The rollar coaster can be avoided if we think ahead. Yes we won Super Bowls, but we also had to deal with a decade of mediocrity. If we plan ahead, we wouldn't even have to deal with the mediocrity.

You might wanna think more clearly before you become an image factory.

look this team is not at the level predicted... tony romo needs to compete for his job he is to comfortable in his role because he has no one behund him good enough in todays nfl you get the best out of your team thorugh good position battles this might be a good thing for the team because everyone shouldnt be safe
