All signs now point to Luke Joeckel being the top pick. He would be the first for the city of Arlington as well as A&M.

Luke Joeckel visited Jacksonville and worked out for KC, Philly and Oakland. That is all the visits/workouts he had.

Joeckel said he isn't "expecting" to go No. 1 but "hopes" to go No. 1.

Texas safety Kenny Vaccaro isn't hiding his desire to play for the Cowboys. He doesn't mind waiting until No. 18 for that to happen.

Eric Reid said his shoulders are fine in response to reports that he might be an injury risk. He said he had three surgeries in high school.

Jonathan Cooper hopes to be long gone by the time the Cowboys draft 18th.

Oklahoma State RB Joseph Randle could be the guy to replace Felix Jones. Cowboys have to improve their run game.

A lot of draft experts, including Mayock, believe Eric Fisher will be the first choice with Joeckel going second to Jacksonville.

@therealclo73: is TE a option?” ... It is not. They will try to trade down. Vaccaro or Richardson is a good guess if they stay at 18.

RT “@CowboysNation1:@therealclo73 TE not a likely option, but from what I hear about Eifert, he could be great bait at 18.” ... No doubt.

Cooper will be around at #18.

We won't draft him.

Not a Williams Tweet but an interesting tweet by Sully.

Just spent a few hours at Valley Ranch, taping this week's edition of "On Air," and the chatter has the Cowboys looking to move up tomorrow.

I don't like the idea of trading up for a guard

If we move up, it won't be for a guard

Hmm, I could see it either being Lane Johnson, Cooper, Star or Shariff. The only guys that make sense.

If they trade up it has to be for a "WoW" player with some flash.

I love when people say we will trade down. It sounds great but you have to have a trade partner. There is a possibility we will have to stay at 18 and tak bpa

Feel like we'll know within the first 4 picks if round-1 will break well for us.

If we get a Mayock scenario -- Joeckel and Fisher go 1 and 2 -- then teams thinking OL get panicky and OL prospects slide up where even DJ Fluker goes before 18. Some of the 2nd round guys like Watson and Long go late round 1 instead and guys like Brian Winters or Alvin Bailey are all that's left at 47.

Flip side, we see this...

1-OT
2-DT
3-DE/OLB
4-QB

...I'd be pretty comfortable about one of the Guards and Fluker being there a 18. Especially if Cleveland (6) and/or Buffalo (8) also go QB.

I think Jason really wants to improve that offensive line... Moving up to take a guard like Cooper or Warmack?

He can easily by taking Schwenke or Winters and signing Clabo...no need to trade assets for a guard.

I agree.

Take best available player at 18.

2nd round grab Larry Warford, 3rd Round grab Schwenke or Barrett Jones. Sign Clabo for RT. Line fixed.

Sounds like Tavon Austin to me.

Trade up and give away valuable picks for a 4th reciever behind Dez, Witten, and Miles? And 5-8 at that. No thanxs.

Exactly. But thats a Jerry type of move. Flash.

Would not be the best move for the this team. But Austin is an electric player. Would be nice to have on this offense.

If this team moves up and gives up a 2nd or 3rd rd pick again, I might be sick.
