Can Jerry and Pacman work out a common strategy to force the Titans to trade the Pacman without violating any league rules?

I just commented in another thread how we need to just get this thing done. Now I read this:confused:. Let's just make a final decision one way or the other. Either we will acquire the guy contingent upon his being reinstated or just forget about it all together.
I hate to say i told you so. but i said weeks ago to forget about the pacman crap. he is not worth the trouble.

If we take a CB with one our 1st round picks, our bargaining position would be even stronger with the Titans. It would send a strong message to them that they need to take the deal offered or they may be stuck with Adam and end up cutting him and getting nothing in return.

I came out strongly opposed to the trade when it was first mentioned. I guess I could be "okay" with it as long as we acquire at least one CB in the draft. I don't want us to put our CB eggs in Pacrat's basket, though.

The value should be there in the first round as the draft is deep in CBs. If the top tier are gone, we can hopefully trade down into the top of the second round and take one of the next tier CBs who can function as the nickel back next year and then take over from Henry.

Seeing as how there is a chance we won't be able to extend TNew, I would not be opposed to taking 2-3 DBs in the first 3 rounds. This plan is more feasible through a trade down approach here.

Pacman is nothing more than a gamble and luxury. It can easily blow up in our face if we depend too much upon him.

I am surprised at how long this is taking. TO, Moss and other malcontents without as much baggage as Pacman have been given away for peanuts in recent history.

Lets build from the draft.

Put Pacman in a cab and have the cabbie drop him off at the strip club and be done with him.

These comments from Jerry tie in very nicely with the Tim McMahon blog regarding this being a game of Texas Hold 'Em. Jerry is devaluing Pacman by making this statement at an event that the commish is speaking. It basically amounts to him telling Bud Adams: "You don't have much but we will give you something just to take him off your hands. Here's a sixth or the #28 pick in the 5th."
