Before JFE starts handing out "advice" on how other professionals should act, she should look in the mirror.

She's taking some bad advice from the idiots she's working with.

It's a classic case of hanging out with the wrong crowd.

And she's flushing a once-promising career down the toilet.....

What is the player's responsibility is to dedicate himself and his off-season to coming back in better shape than ever, which is why Cowboys left tackle Flozell Adams and his failed conditioning test is unacceptable.

No , what's unacceptable is your column which day to day and week to week is riddled with sarcasm, inaccuracies and whiny, baseless opinion. Pure drivel. The next logical step for JFE is the National Enquirer.

The Enquirer is too good for her. The papers with the "found aliens", and "400 lb babies" is more her speed.

I'm not upset by Flo because...well...Parcells isn't. He just held him out as a precautionary measure - it was no big deal. I still think he looks overweight, but I've always felt Flo played too big - Parcells disagrees with me there. Oh well.

I agree with JFE here. I know I tore my ACL in high school and had to work my butt off to get my knee back to full strength. In the early parts of rehab when I couldn't run, I was on the bike, eliptical and swimming. When I could run, I made sure I really tested out my leg. I came back in my best shape ever from my knee injury. I had hoped Flo would re-dedicate himself to the game after it robbed him of half a season.

time will tell, but Flo showing up overweight isn't a good sign.

JFE has really taken a slide in my eyes. I think she has been hanging w/ Hansen too much. Too bad she isn't at least something worth looking at.

Yes, she use to write decent articles and worth reading, but now everything has to have that negative twist to it. Can't stand reading her crap anymore. I skipped over most of it as usual, went right on to the comments about it.

Injuries are a part of football. Almost never is a player held responsible for a season-ending injury.

What is the player's responsibility is to dedicate himself and his off-season to coming back in better shape than ever, which is why Cowboys left tackle Flozell Adams and his failed conditioning test is unacceptable.

What was he doing this off-season? Does he really care that little about what coach Bill Parcells thinks about him? Doesn't he know that just such a failed test added further fuel to the fire between Parcells and former Cowboys lineman Larry Allen last season?

Beyond that, though, is Flo's seemingly lackadaisical attitude since his first year under Parcells. If you will remember, he had a great year and Parcells came into camp before Year 2 talking about how he thought Adams could turn himself into one of the five best players in the game.

Instead, he has gone the other way.

He had a disappointing 2004. He was injured in 2005. And now he shows up for 2006 unable to pass a simple conditioning test. Am I alone or does this pattern drive anybody else nuts as well?

You can be in good cardio shape without using your legs... you could row a boat... you could push yourself in a wheelchair.... you can do MANY things...

no passes for Flozell... he has been slacking for past couple of years... he needs to play to his pay. Period.

I totally agree. I used to really look forward to hearing her on GaC but now she's just whine whine whine and everything's negative.

She's really disappointed me.

He didn't show up overweight. He didn't pass the conditioning test. There is a difference.

When you're a professional athlete, this type of test should be a given when your so close to training camp. He is chancing another injury by not already being conditioned.

I can remember when she used to be a pretty good writer who did her homework and had actual news to report. Man, what the heck happened to her? This article was pure pot stirring nonsense.

IMO she used to be one of the best writers in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, but ever since the T.O. signing, she has been on a personal rampage against all things Cowboys. Totally unprofessional.
