I give the Gmen all the respect they deserve. 3-1 teams aren't to be taken lightly.

I still remember all the 41-3 predictions we made vs the Commanders. I also remember the 45-0 predictions for the Pickle Bowl.

The Giants will be our benchmark. One game at a time, and we close the gap to the NFC East title. It's a long ways away, but we have to take it one step at a time.

We not only have to beat the Giants, we have to thrash them in all phases of the game. The 92-95 Cowboys didn't just win games, they demolished their opponents.

The 90's Cowboys are not today's Patriots ... who win games in the last second via Vinetieri's leg.

I don't want to resemble the Patriots. I wanna be the 90's Cowboys again. Utterly destroy the enemy.

If we're to prove a point, we do so against the Giants. I want another total dismantling of an NFCE opponent.

And how do you plan on stopping all our offensive weapons... We are very similar teams. Great RBs, Great TEs, QB who have a little more to prove than just 4 or 5 games, and inconsistent defenses. What's your plan?

More than likely the same way we have beat the other teams, Score often and make you play catch up and make you one dimensional. Defense bends but doesn't break.

We give up a lost of yards between the 20s but get tough inside the red zone and create turnovers.

You have some weapons I will give you that.

But don't think they will have the same success they have had against the bottom feeder defenses you have faced so far in your house.

Philly has just as many weapons as you do, actually I would say they have better weapons. We held them to 3 points.

I do expect you all to have a little more success than Philly and you probably will make a few plays, but it will not be enough.[/QUOTE

I stopped reading at the Philly has better weapons that us part.

No way. Ya the defenses we played werent the best but we did what your supposed to do to defenses like that.

You wont stop our offense and if the defense half way shows up we will win. The "D" in the second half of the Chargers game shows up and were done.

Not to be a jerk here, but what is it that makes you think your defense is sooo good? What have they done?

Lets talk about Giants offensive and Cowboys defensive matchups

Burress? We have played him before last year and he was shutdown. Ben is better than Eli in my opinion. Fast receivers have burned our secondary and Burress is not fast. How about because he is tall? So is A. Henry and T. Newman the only short guy is A. Glenn but he did a good job against Owens last week.

Toomer? Played him over and over and he is Roy Williams pet monkey.

Eli? He has not seen a good pass rush yet. Lets see how he does with people in his face.

OL? Inconsistent so far and will be playing against a very deep Cowboys DL.

Shockey? Palying man to man on the recievers will allow us to double cover him if necessary. Ware, Burnet, and Roy could handle him the way I see it.

You should not stop reading, it may halt your knowledge level.

I will give it to you honestly, with no blinders.

McNabb vs Eli. This may change someday, but Mcnabb gets the edge right now.

Barber vs. Westbrook. Edge goes to Westbrook. I will say though I think NY utilizes Barber a little better. Philly should give Westbrook more carries. But Westbrook scares me a whole lot more than Barber.

TO vs. Plax. Not even a conversation worth having. TO

Greg Lewis vs. Toomer. Right now even.

Shockey vs. LJ. Edge goes to Shockey, but not by much this year.

Philly O-Line vs. G Girl O-Line. Definetly Philly.

This is no disrespect to your weapons, like I said they are good. But if you give me the choice of which group I would take on my team for 1 year, I definetly take Phiily's.

There will be some turnovers but it will be the Giants coughing them up, your team has put up lots of points against defenses who couldn't pressure the QB or play tight match-up coverage by the cornerbacks.

McNabb has been the best QB in the NFC east at handling pressure and making plays, but he couldn't handle this Cowboys line because the pressure is coming from the middle of the pocket as well as the outside. You do run the ball a little better than the Eagles but not good enough. This Cowboys defense will control the line of scrimmage, it will be the Giants forced into a "one dimensional" game.

Your juggernaut offense is built on the teams that haven't stopped anyone, you won't find that waiting Sunday in Texas Stadium.

No way just because Philly choses not to use him in the running game don't label him as a bad runner.

Westbrook is bigger, faster, more shifty, and is a bigtime threat catching the ball.

Yeah Tiki's vision out of the BACKFIELD is better, but as a reciever (which Westbrook basically is) Westbrook is much better. I'd say they're even as weapons, one can run one can catch.

Westbrook is like 5'8" 200. Tikis something like 5'9" 215.

I hate the giants more than anyone, but Tiki had been gettign it done, he can run inside and outside, and is a pain in the *** with his vision and cut backs.

They dont screen a ton, but hes also a pain in the *** on screens.

Westbrook is a big playmaker, and usually a headache, but hes not Tiki Barber

First let me say the Giants are not a bad Football team, but really how good are they?

So far they have beat a

1-4 Arizona Team
2-3 New Orleans Team
2-3 St. Louis Team

All games also played in New York.
What???? Tagliabue told me that the Giants were the road team against New Orleans!!

Philly has 10 sacks because we got 4 Sunday so you guys would be tied at 6 considering they have one more game than you.

They haven't done much and I dont recall saying they have, but if they can keep creating turnovers and stay tough in the redzone like they have...bend but dont break...we will be ok.

But if the defense plays like in the chargers game it will be a long day

This is too easy...

You neglected to mention the fact that McNabb's numbers took a hit from our game. Prior to that game his numbers looked like this:

100.6 QB rating, 6 sacks... Expect Eli's numbers to dip a bit following this game as well.

The only problem you have is that your turnover were created against some of the most turnover prone teams in the league. Even without your games against them they average 2.6 turnovers per game. The Cowboys average 1 turnover per game. So the question is, did you generate those turnovers or did you simply take the turnovers you were given by teams prone to do so?
