G-Girls are going down, and here is why

Better check that... QB Rating Eli 97.8, McNabb 95.9

Sacks allowed..NY 6 Philly 10 Our line is much improved

Shockey > Smith..check the stats on Nfl.com
Eli and McNabb are almost identical in ratings, but McNabb has played some tough defenses (Dallas and Atlanta). The toughest defense that Eli has faced was San Diego. The other three teams that they faced are pathetic. Philly has played one more game than New York and has played a couple of defenses that seriously get after the quarterback. I seriously doubt that McNabb would have been sacked 6 times playing the Giants' schedule. I'll give you Shockey > Smith, and I don't think it's even close.

You neglected to mention the fact that he has had an extra game than Shockey.

Wasnt that what i was told about Mcnabbs Qb rating???

Guess the same applies here

You are correct, without the game against us LJ Smith has 26 catches for 265 yards. Still more than Shockey.

I agree with you abou facing tough defenses, but against SD Eli had his best passing game yardage wise, course we were in a shoot out too and what he did under those cirucmstances with the crowd and all was pretty impressive. Remember he hasnt played a whole seasons worth of games yet.

I think its gonna be a great game. Looking foward to it

San Diego's defense really hasn't played very well this season. Their offense is really good, but that fact doesn't really help your argument.

Westbrook is like 5'8" 200. Tikis something like 5'9" 215.

I hate the giants more than anyone, but Tiki had been gettign it done, he can run inside and outside, and is a pain in the *** with his vision and cut backs.

They dont screen a ton, but hes also a pain in the *** on screens.

Westbrook is a big playmaker, and usually a headache, but hes not Tiki Barber

36 Westbrook, Brian RB 5-8 203
21 Barber, Tiki RB 5-10 200

My bad Westbrook looks so much Bigger than Tiki I guess because he is shorter.

Last year Vinny Testaverde had 3 games with over 100 QB ratings. The interesting thing is that two of those games were blowout losses, much like your 'shootout' with SD. Sorry, I can't really call it a shootout when you lose by 20 pts, I call that a blowout. Vinny threw for 308 yards and a 103 QB rating in one 20+ pt loss, and 254 yards and a 103 rating in another. Sometimes, depending on the D you face and their disposition, it's easier to put up nice numbers when you are getting stomped. Eli did a nice job in the first half, bringing the Giants back, but almost everything in the second half was garbage time.

Westbrook has thicker legs.

Also, Tiki has gained 10 pounds in the off season ( like Julius did, another reason they remind me of each other)

Tikis at about 210-215

Not entirely

Smith... 5 gms, 287 Rec yds, 57.4 yds/g, long 23, avg 10.3, 2 tds, 20+ 3

Shockey 4 gms, 251 yds, 62.8 yds/g, long 32, avg 14.8
2 tds, 20+ 5

So if you look at over all stats not just bits a pieces you see
Shockey> Smith

Your missing the part about the enviorment. You know everyone in San Diego wanted to see Eli demolished because of the draft and all, which would make the chargers play harder.

On another note Eli played well last year against some great D's
namely Pitt and hes only gotten better since then. I think he will be fine. Then again he might come out and remind us hes somewhat a rookie, but I wouldnt count on it. He does his homework

It really doesnt, it was just posted earlier that Philly has better offensive weapons that us, and I dont agree with it.

Just all about proving a point I guess.

This was also our offensive and defensive lines first game together they have shown substantial improvement. Like I stated earlier The Giants haven't faced anything like the defense that will be coming at you Sunday.

Got it! I think over time they may be better. I think next year the Giants or the Boys will have as good, or better, of an offense than Philly. But both are very unproven right now. We killed the Iggles and I know as well as most fans here that are willing to admit it that we aren't as good offensively as the Iggles CONSISTENTLY!!!! I think that deep down everyone on this board knows that NEITHER of these teams are better offensively than Philly. Competitive? Maybe, but not better. And I think deep down, you know that too.

This the same D that couldnt stop the Raiders or the Skins?

And you haven't faced an offense like you will Sunday yet either.

and to AT31, I think we have a better offense than the Eagles just not the D to go with it yet.

You mean this weak D who gave up a stunning 19 points to the Raiders and a WHOLE 14 points to the Commanders?

Do the math bro ...

Homer:blind: :nana:

Actually, we've faced two offenses that were BETTER, and beat them both. ;)
