Please, you go try to throw a pass with a swollen thumb...

I would be willing to bet his thumb never healed after being hurt the first time.

He shouldn't have thrown a single pass until the play-offs then...

so the passes that were perfect are ok but his bad passes are because of the thumb?

MASN just reported this and said that it came from a Cowboys source.

Who was this coach, eh?

Plus, I'd like to see this so-called play again to see if Werder is just BSing.

I missed the very first of the talk... But he says Ed Werder is reporting that Tony hurt his thumb on the second throw of the game when blitzing safety Johnson for the Giants hit his thumb on a follow-through.

That might explain some of the goofy-looking throws Romo made, eh?

If that is true, I could believe it.

As a catcher in baseball I hurt my left hand thumb one season and it would heal up, or stop hurting for awhile, but the least little thing would bring the pain back in agonizing fashion. The only time it did heal was after the season...

Still, I don't like excuses because Romo made some throws that COULD HAVE WON THE GAME...CRAYTON!!

For the most part I don't think Romo played bad given the pressure the giants were putting on him. I think had some player not dropped some big passes Romo numbers would have looked much better. He can only throw it he can't catch it for them or run the rout for his WR. No doubt the throw to TO was poor and he had some where his arm was hit while in the process of throwing it.

I'm currently downloading the beginning of the game. I'll try to isolate the Ware and Romo plays and upload them somewhere.
