Gaining Perspective in the Rivalry

I use to have season tickets to the Cowboys and the Skins fans that came to Dallas were always nice...this was back in the olden days when people didn't kill each other over football games and you could actually enjoy games without worrying about having beer thrown at you or being called a name because you cheered for a certain team.

I'm discouraged by what I've heard from any number of stadiums around the league. It appears as though people take this stuff way too seriously when it gets physical. This year I've heard bad things about the fans in Seattle, Houston, Dallas, Washington, NY/MJ, Philly (of course) and Oakland (of course). Fans are just evil sometimes.

I really don't care much about the rivalry. I just want my team to win. If there is only thing that makes my dislike for the Commanders team greater than any other team, it's the fact that I live in DC and have to listen to the radio or news go on and on about a Commanders victory.

Agreed. I don't think much about it. It's just a football game and nothing I say or do will influence the outcome. There are more important things in life.

Hmm, So now after our respective wins against the Panthers and Giants (two of the best NFC teams?) has any consensus or views changed?
