It’s often the retaliatory shot that gets that draws the flag. A professional should be well aware. And kicking a player, in the groin or not, SHOULD draw a PF and ejection. That is a complete loss of self-control.
I'm fine with it. But I read Pugh's comments after the fact and he was respectful towards the situation.

It was asinine, but to pretend Pugh was innocent, and just went to help up DeVito is ridiculous.

I lost some respect for Gallimore, pulling an Albert Haynesworth stunt like that, but Pugh should have been flagged too.

Gotta say though, I don't think he really got him in the nads. It looked liked most of the force was on the lower abdomen, with the heel lightly hitting Pugh's cup.
Yep...kick to the stomach.

Gallimore's hit on Devito: It looks like a momentum hit, at the waist. It was a bit late, could have been redirected to avoid the hit altogether, I think.
Pugh's reaction: He hit Gallimore out of frustration, in the moment. It looked like a ground and pound in UFC.
Gallimore's hit on Pugh: Contact was made at the waist, a reflex with his leg to prevent further attacks while laying on the ground. The heel did contact the groin area. I don't think there should be a fine for this, preventing a ground and pound. Pugh was taking a risk by attacking a player on the ground.

If Gallimore gets fined, so should Pugh.

Huh? I missed this...........either way, I don't think he's a dirty player but can expect a call from the league

Cameras Caught Cowboys Player’s Dirty Move That Rightfully Led to Ejection in Closing Seconds of Blowout

Cowboys defensive tackle Neville Gallimore was ejected late in Sunday’s blowout win over the Giants after kicking Giants lineman Justin Pugh in the groin.

Gallimore kicked Pugh as the journeyman offensive lineman went to help up QB Tommy DeVito. It was a blatantly obvious dirty play, and referees quickly picked up on it, ejecting Gallimore from the game.

Word of his punishment should be out soon...the league just suspended Texans' LB Denzel Perryman three games for repeated violations, including unnecessary roughness penalty this past Sunday versus Bengals.

Why does every video of this exclude the previous 5 seconds?

Meh. Seems like he tackled low but then eased up so he wouldn’t injure the QB. Then Pugh got upset with him and pushed him down and he used his foot half-heartedly to push him away as a reflex like you do as a kid. It was barely a kick. They’re just making mountains out of molehills.

I didn't think it was dirty. Just impulsive and stupid. Sad.

It's indicative of why his career didn't go anywhere here.

I'm just talking about all other sites. They only show the kick.
I see, I haven't looked at any other sites. I have a similar issue with the CeeDee interview. Everything I've seen, the headline is "I'm the top receiver...", when what I hear, and context of the words before and after seem to imply is that he said, "I'm a top receiver..."

Pugh is standing over him (after having shoved him) and Pugh is moving closer. I’m not disgusted by Gallimore here.

Well deserved ejection. poor decision on his part. The fine will also be well deserved

Seriously? These idiots post this without even mentioning that the Giants lineman came over and tried to pile drive Gallimore into the ground while he was laying on the ground? F O H!
Exactly. Pugh purposely gave Gallimore a solid 2 handed shove, Gallimore was just reacting to that. I agree he still shouldn't of kicked the guy in the groin, but nevertheless it was in response to Pugh's initial action.
And as usual, the guy who shoves 1st , Pugh in this case, gets away with it and the guy who strikes back gets nailed for it. :banghead:
