And all we're open but dakko has tunnel vision.Hilton was all by his lonesome for a few big plays if the QB would just turn his head.
That is not how it works in the NFL. If Lamb is the primary read and he is open the QB does not go "well my primary read is open (or secondary if the primary is not) but maybe I should wait around for something better". That is simply not how it works. The first player in the priority list that is open is going to get the ball. You do not just hold it check every player then come back because there is not enough time for that.

They really need to bring in another legit WR. I think Dak’s deficiencies are amplified by:

#1) A lack of offensive playmakers outside Lamb and Pollard.

#2) Pressure. He really struggled this year when the pass rush hurried him a little bit.

If Dallas keeps rolling with him, they need to build the offense to build on his strengths and minimize the exposure of his weaknesses which were on display tonight.
Absolutely. He’s going to need help. He’s not an elite QB like Mahomes or Rogers to carry an offense. I still say he’s good enough with the right players around him. Pollard going down killed the offense tonight.

I just wish I'd have kept a list of all the people on here that ripped me up and down in late August for calling this WR corp trash and Bottom 5 in the league....not asking for an apology, but a hug might help things right now. ;)

IDK is Gallup really that bad of a WR? I think if the ball was thrown to him more than twice in 4 qtrs he would be pretty decent.. He makes some really nice catches, especially when its contested.. I dont blame WR's when they run all out for 50 60 plays and dont ever have the ball thrown your way.. It's like Dak picks a Wr/TE to throw to and thats it for most of the game.. it's either Lamb or Schultz... I really cant believe MG or TY aren't getting open..

That Niners D is legit, I can't wait to see the NFC Championship game. Honestly it will be a great match up, Dallas doesn't quite have it yet. Maybe net year with a better WR, and if we somehow keep Quinn and draft another monster. Zeke has been great but there needs to be more on offense than Zeke

Armchair QBs just don’t get it. Their perspective from the booth view makes them an expert. It was the right read as Lamb was one on one with a LBer. Problem was Warner has the speed of a safety and closed on that route like Usain Bolt. Give the 49ers credit, their LBing Corp is probably the best the NFL. Amazing against the run and in pass coverage.
Still though, Dak’s overall play was below average.

It does look like we should have let Gallup walk, he likely benefited from being the #3 WR here but didn't contribute a lot this year. I would give him another year with recoverg, but looks like Cooper was worth the extra 6 million based on what we got from Gallup.

I hate to be positive, but this defense will likely be just as good next season and if you can find a way to bring in a #2 receiver and maybe another offensive lineman I think this team could be better.

They were the only ones getting open on a few plays. We were talking about it as it happened in the chat.
