Receivers are usually only as good as their QB. Average QB, average receivers. Dak turned a number one into trade bait.

I hate to be positive, but this defense will likely be just as good next season and if you can find a way to bring in a #2 receiver and maybe another offensive lineman I think this team could be better.
I think a real play making TE would do wonders for this offense. He would take pressure off the WRs and can own all that short crap Kelmo loves to throw every game. I wonder if any FAs will be available this offseason.

IDK is Gallup really that bad of a WR? I think if the ball was thrown to him more than twice in 4 qtrs he would be pretty decent.. He makes some really nice catches, especially when its contested.. I dont blame WR's when they run all out for 50 60 plays and dont ever have the ball thrown your way.. It's like Dak picks a Wr/TE to throw to and thats it for most of the game.. it's either Lamb or Schultz... I really cant believe MG or TY aren't getting open..
#4 doesn't see the field.....pre-determines his throws...then forces the ball. :banghead: And a lot of the time it's the wrong read....and he still makes that throw anyway.

Absolutely. He’s going to need help. He’s not an elite QB like Mahomes or Rogers to carry an offense. I still say he’s good enough with the right players around him. Pollard going down killed the offense tonight.
In hindsight, I think Dallas should have just rolled with Cooper Rush.

We'll never know.

AND TO THINK, it's only going to get worse. from the coaching staff to all the players, N01 dak for what he counts againist the cap and for heaven sake don't retain that offensive coordinator send him packing along with hamburger mike he couldn't get team to the super bowl if he followed the yellow brick road the wicked witch would offer him a plate lunch and that's as far as he gets. cut a quarter of this team and get all rookies they can't be any worse off then what we have. and tell dak i can't cut you this next year so one more stupid interception and you'll be riding the bench as a backup behind a rookie qb that will make him mad but it is what it is. and get a real coach not a fraud like hamburger mike. there are plenty of coachs out there like frasier of coarse he's not a yes man like what jerry likes but he could get you to where you want to go. but this was the last hurrah nothing but bad things are coming

Why letting Cooper go was beyond stupid. Had nothing to do with the contract. Only fools think this.

Most people knew Gallup wasn't going to do anything this year coming back from his injury. Then brown is well not very good.

The Cooper move was beyond trash tier

The part that pissed me off the most was Gallup completely just standing still on the route that was intercepted. It was a poor choice by Dak, but Gallup has to come back for the ball and at least break it up.
Gallup was in shock when he saw the ball coming to him. He couldn't believe any QB would throw him the ball when he was fully covered.

Once again, having Amari wouldve changed nothing today. We wouldve still lost. Only thing that wouldve been different was Ceedee wouldnt have had the game that he had.

Dak not seeing the field and pre-determining throws was the reason we lost. Not a lack of players getting open

….and he was feeling pressure that wasn’t really there at times. Rushed his progression and missed some open reads. He hits the wall at this level of football
thats been the read on Dak since college. nothing has changed. unfortunately, he was born with his IQ. only way he gets smarter is he has a brain transplant.

Oh I don't disagree.

Even if Cooper was still here Dak wouldn't look his way sometimes whereas most QB will force feed their #1 and let them make plays.

You could tell he was getting super frustrated towards the end when Dak wouldn't look his way and just throw a check down pass. I think Warner broke down two games of this

Gallup has to be the 3 next year. You can't rely on him as your 2nd best WR.
he needs to be gone...on a good offense, he doesn't sniff being a #3....he runs routes with a piano on his back

The FO literally blew up our chances. We got worse while the 49ers and Eagles got better... and it played out in the playoffs like it always does.

Pet peeve of mine when a WR doesn't come back for the ball. Such basic football.

....that was clearly an issue I hope the OC addressed in the game, not in a presser. Saw that materializing in the first half.......that's on Dak initially, but on the OC too.

Agree. Its like he was afraid to get an offensive pass interference call, which would have been better than allowing the Int
